When you lose your integrity, you have lost the race.

In the past week, Sanders has put out misinformation, misleading messages and down and out falsehoods. His campaign is in meltdown mode, his supporters are (well fill in the blank).

Tomorrow will be the crushing blow to his campaign with no path to the nomination. What will Sanders do? We will find out tomorrow night.

Mr. Sanders you have lost your integrity so the things you say you stand for IMHO have fallen to the wayside.

Not only have you lost your integrity, you have just lost.

I may take a beating for posting this but someone had to say it.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Doing the right thing feels good at times because your conscious is clean, you can walk down the street with your head held high and no fear from looking anyone else square in the eye. With Integrity you have the advantage of sleeping well. And your struggles in the fight to preserve integrity, steal precious time away from you wife and children. there is no glory.
The Cheaters have bought and paid for the judges, and corporations have arbitration laws to circumvent trials.

But he told them that all they had to do was believe and they could do it. Heady shit. Totally false, but heady, especially in young kids w/o any real knowledge of how things work. Any wonder that these same people now falsely believe they can win elections by tweeting 'Joe Biden is senile' hundreds of times a day. They were told they could achieve stuff by acting up. Bernie is the one who told them this, Bernie is to blame.

...the grumpy old Jewish guy from the Bronx, altho hubby hasn't lived there since he was a teenager in 1964 and the family moved to SoCal. Everything about Bernie that makes me roll my eyes -- his Marxist ideology, the vehemence with which he waves his arms, the volume and anger -- seems to remind my husband of some long-lost uncle when you add his age and ethnicity.

After a certain point I tried to soft-peddle my own opinions at home in the name of peace (tho it may not have always come out that way) -- but if something came out in the news, I'd say I'd already heard about that (at DU, usually) and sorry, it was true. When it came to Sanders' more toxic followers, I did say more than once that I would have cut that man so much slack if only he would denounce them all and tell them to stop saying they worked for him.

I can understand the disappointment now. I feel it from my husband when Bernie comes on.

Hang in there. Let's just get rid of Trump. God willing, as hubby says.

Why do I support Sanders? are most apparent by how they act when they lose. Hillary after losing to Obama. Pete and Amy after seeing no path after SC. Even Bloomberg, when he dropped out, wasn't bitter and hateful. Let's see how this plays out, but I think we know what's coming after the 2016 convention.

Nearly every response is from a Biden supporter.

I think I saw 2 Undecideds and 1 Sanders supporter.

I don't disagree with your point. It's just odd when there isn't any dissent. It feels too much like an echo chamber.

Bottom line is that Sanders was never going to be the Democratic nominee.

people claiming to be his supporters? There are proven trolls claiming to be Sanders supporters, trying to spread FUD. And people who take the spewing of trolls as fact so they can then try to validate why they won't vote for Sanders.

And he needs to drop out after the crushing losses coming today and he also absolutely must endorse Biden.

Unity behind shared, basic American values is how we're going to win this year, and Bernie shares those values.

He can still make a valuable contribution going forward, he just can't become President.

When Biden slumped, his campaign marked as DOA (multiple times), we did not hear the scathing attacks, the disinformation and/or insults hurled at the opposition. Defense, yes; angry attacks, no. In fact, after his defeat in Iowa, Biden admitted it was a 'punch to the gut.'

There's a difference in character we're being exposed to during this campaign. Biden brings people into the tent, embraces former opponents.

The other side?

Well, I leave that up to the interpretation of others.

There's tremendous frustration to overcome with empathy, not with bashing the integrity of those who aren't completely in line with a point of view. I'm saddened that more progressive candidates are dropping out, as fighting for the economically disadvantaged is so essential after the R's get done with their economic wrecking ball, even when progress can only be incremental with this congress.
I don't want to hear any more "centrist" garbage about "working across the isle" in such a surgical-emergency obstructionist, greedy, self-centered and pathetic congressional quagmire as we continue to tolerate.
We certainly don't need to lose financially struggling independent voters this round. I agree Sanders has pulled some alienating gaffes.
Even those who do everything right, honestly and with tremendous integrity can lose, and it hurts tremendously to see that effort totally fail. Kamala Harris' campaign is one I hope returns for another round.
Calling out the integrity of those having a tantrum because they didn't get their unicorn is likely counterproductive at this point.

It seems to me he has this locked up. He should focus 100% on Trump and either ignore or be super duper nice to him. The later the wiser course at this point. If you have achieved victory why stir up the hornets nest? Kill em with kindness as they say.
