(5,945 posts)It's Joe going negative on Bernie for going negative on Joe. Is the irony lost on the writers of this ad?

No.
Bernie made it clear what he thinks of Democrats when he wanted to primary Obama. Obama was elected by our party by huge margins of our electorate.

(17,390 posts)Hillary thought that being patient with Bernie would help get his supporters on her side. It did not work. Bernie is just interested in promoting himself and pushing this o going then of victimhood that rival's Trump.
Joe cannot coast. He needs to keep on campaigning and isolate Bernie, since Bernie is well on his way to isolating himself.

(5,945 posts)The behavior of Sanders, his staff, and his surrogates in the week since their Super Tuesday debacle has been - to borrow a term - deplorable. All that garbage about senilty! Why would I want there to be even a whiff of that stench on the campaign of our standard-bearer (which I feel certain Joe will be in just a few short hours)?
To accuse someone while simultaneously doing the same thing you accuse them of is the very definition of hypocrisy. We may be willing to overlook apparent hypocrisy in this forum (indeed, it's been made abundantly clear to me that we are), but the general public may be turned off by it.
I've said elsewhere in these pages today that I regard Joe Biden as a figure of grace and decency. I believe in my heart that his inherent grace and decency will be a beacon that will help light the way to this nation's recovery. I don't have to like this one commercial in order to be an enthusiastic foot soldier in the battle ahead.

(1,752 posts)these 2 need to negotiate some kind of compromise and do it NOW, well in advance of the convention LOL there may not even be a convention. (I work in event planning and know of what I speak.)
I don't know what that will look like. Im not getting paid to figure it out.
What does Bernie want if he cant be president? What does Joe want if he cant be president? Get some beer guys and sit down and figure it out.
Its up to THEM. Our so called leaders need to be modeling the behavior we want from our political reps.
IM fed up. Let me know who the nominee is, and Ill go vote for him.
