I'm aware of a few parents in Newtown Connecticut that would like to have an open discussion with Senator Sanders.

Nor is Sanders the only one who cares about the issues of people in those situations, the claims of his supporters notwithstanding.

Someone who doesn't view the people who would form those coalitions as the enemy.
