This is the first big experience with the revised 'no reason needed' absentee voting situation, where anyone and everyone can vote by this process, as opposed to the old 'restricted' absentee voting, when you needed some sort of legitimate reason.

And, of course, there were a number of spoiled/re-cast ballots, because of the people who dropped out.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

why absentee ballots aren't processed and counted as soon as they are received, then results stored until polls close on election day. Seems as if this would solve the problem up front and not cause delays due to so many uncounted ballots. Election laws need to be changed so that this happens.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Very red town, but all the poll workers are retired UAW, so when we asked for the Dem ballots, they grinned and thanked us for caring about our country! When we got our ballots, the other workers said the same thing, and were very helpful, showing me where to vote at the Handicapped table. When we took our ballots to the table after voting, and those workers saw we voted with a Democratic ballot, THEY thanked us for caring about our country! The man took us to the machine that counts the ballots, he made a point of asking if we needed instructions. No, we told him, we've done this every election. He thanked us again for caring about our county. I did notice that they did not say this to the 2 voters in line behind us who asked for the Republican ballots.

It's a small town and there wasn't any waiting; they said there had been "spurts" of heavy turnout, but times of no voters. Our family delivered four votes for Joe Biden today.

GO UAW!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

we don't need to have instant results. We never used to have them and the push to get them has resulted in some vulnerable mechanisms for tabulating and transmitting vote counts.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
