quite a while now. It's also difficult to get MDs and other high end professionals to go to those rural areas. As I understand it the problem is related to medicade cutbacks and the weakening of the ACA. So those folks are saying the rural health crisis that exists now is a result of what will happen in the future when the Dems expand health care coverage.
