Will the rest of the Primaries be cancelled for coronavirus?

State and National Emergency? Some of us don't vote until the end of April. Postponed until further notice? Large groups of people in one place? Quarantines already going on and many events cancelled. This too? Will people be just plain too scared to go out in public to vote? With all threads on here about Seniors staying home they won't be able to vote? Far too late to request Absentee Ballots.

If it hasn't gotten better by November, can Trump cancel the entire General Election?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

States control the elections. Emergency powers don't matter. Martial law doesn't matter.

Only the states can cancel an election.

However, the constitution is clear thet the presidents and vp's term ends on a specific date. If nobody is certified as having won, then the next person in succession would be sworn in.

Welcome president pelosi.

Doesn't the Constitution also specify that terms in the House and the Senate have specific time lengths, too? If there is no election, how can there be a House of Representatives in 2021?

They did it that way on purpose.

But yeah, it would be a shitshow once those terms expire. Governors could appoint senators, but rep's can only be lected by popular vote.

I didn't see any on the ballot. I know about the super-delegates, but I thought that the individual parties chose their own delegates. Does the legislature choose them or what?

You can expect your polling place to have hand sanitizing stations, but bring your own hand sanitizer, just in case.

People will be thinking about this and you'll see preparations at your polling place. Don't stand close to other voters. Sanitize your hands after voting. Keep your hands off your face.
