Can/Will DeSantis put a hold on Tuesday's Florida primary

Doing so would help Sanders by delaying Biden's climb to 1991 delegates.

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist, but DeSantis would have an incentive to hurt Biden.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The Primary is still scheduled For Tuesday March 17th. The only thing that has changed is some polling places have been moved (example, Nursing homes).

That's what I know.

I do live in precinct that's about 80% republican. I expect it to be slow considering that percentage.

Yes i will take the risk to my health. I have not missed voting since I started in 1982.

If he hasn't done it already, he won't with two days till voting day. In-person early voting in Florida ended yesterday, I doubt he would want the ire of letting early voters have their say, but not those that chose to wait until Election Day.

I am an early voter. My vote is in. But I still want other people to vote on Tuesday and would not be happy if they don't get a chance to.

11. Florida governor says presidential primary will go on: 'They voted during the Civil War'
Sat Mar 14, 2020, 11:52 PM
Mar 2020

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) confirmed Friday that Florida would vote as scheduled in Tuesday's presidential primaries amid continued concern over the coronavirus outbreak.

“We’re definitely voting. They voted during the Civil War. We’re going to vote,” DeSantis said at a press conference in Tallahassee, Fla., the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

DeSantis's remarks came the same day Louisiana announced it would postpone its April 4 presidential primary due to concerns over the coronavirus.

“We want to protect the health and safety of all Louisianans by doing our part to prevent the spread of this highly infectious disease,” Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin (R) said.
