Here is 538's forecast for ALL of the remaining primaries/caucuses. WHAT possible reason would....

...Sanders have to hold out after tonight's results? He's not even close to leading in a SINGLE one!!

As of now Biden has 913 delegates, Sanders 752.

The ultimate totals will be 2,331 to 1,350.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

He will have to win 71% of the remaining delegates to win.

The handwriting is on the wall. The math is not complicated.

Drop out Bernie.

To stay home due to health scares, it will till it in sanders direction. Too many people have already voted, or voted by mail. It may push vote totals down, but across the board won’t change the outcome. It will be interesting to see final counts

Especially looking at the totals on the chart you posted. 70% Biden, 30% sanders. Nothing is going to shift that much to put sanders over the top

Bernie certainly was a lot closer in 2016 when he won around 22 or 23 states and had roughly 45% of the vote.

But the dude ain't gonna come anywhere close to that this year. Guess they got all excited when there were umpteen candidates in the field and his supporters thought he might get the nomination with only 25% or 30% of the vote. Thank God it got whittled down so fast because that woulda been a total disaster.
