Just voted in Florida

At 3PM ET was voter number 127 for the entire day in a multi precinct location.

I proudly cast my ballot for the best person, Senator Elizabeth Warren.

I suspect that Joe has this locked up. Bernie might not even be viable statewide due to early vote being essentially the only vote.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I was for Warren and don't have a strong preference between the two remaining candidates. So if I end up just voting for her anyway, it's not really a vote lost from either candidate, because I'm not sure who I'll vote for if she's not still on the ballot. So if you were to assume that my vote would otherwise go to Biden, you'd be incorrect. Probably ditto for OP.

49. I'm honestly torn
Tue Mar 17, 2020, 08:41 PM
Mar 2020

Policy-wise I'm closer to Bernie, though not quite as far to the left as he is, and I feel strongly about corporate money having an outsized influence in politics, which hampers genuine progressive policies from being enacted without being watered down every time. On the other hand, I think Biden might be a stronger candidate in the general, and he has a proven track record of getting things done. In general, Biden seems more presidential, but he's also a gaffe machine and that worries me a bit because it complicates the optics of our argument that Democrats are far more competent and ready to take charge (though Biden's performance the other night assuaged my concerns on that). So I think there are pros and cons for both candidates. Warren was the best mix of what I like about Bernie and what I like about Biden.

I voted for Warren on Super Tuesday, but I would have torn off my skin and eaten it before I voted for BS in the primary.

The only person I would have been less inclined to vote for would have been Tulsi. I hold them both in complete contempt. I’d crawl over broken glass, rats and rattlesnakes to vote for Biden over either of them if it was a choice between Biden and BS.

That’s because I vote for Democrats, not posers using the party for their own selfish ambitions.

The primaries were likely to be effectively over even by 4/28, and now Cuomo is talking about postponing even further. So assuming I have no real opportunity to influence the nominee selection, I'm just going to vote for the person I think would have been the best president. And even though I oscillated a bit during the competitive primaries because of the need to beat Trump, there was never any question in my mind that Elizabeth Warren would make the best president out of all of them.

Most of you Biden people have been saying it's over, no need to even hold more primaries. Then you complain when I decide to vote for the person I really wanted to vote for because my vote doesn't matter anyway.

If I had a strong preference between the two remaining candidates I'd probably vote for one of them, but since I don't and would be okay with either as the nominee I might as well vote for the person I wanted to vote for anyway.
