Put into perspective, so far he's gone over 50% in only two states - his home state of Vermont at only 51% and in the North Dakota caucus.

On the flip side, Biden's gotten more than 50% seven times, and more than 60% three times.

"What if Bernie wins the rest" indeed.

Sun Mar 22, 2020, 06:39 PM
Mar 2020

....that would leave him more than 200 short of the 1991. On the other hand, Biden now has 1203 delegates, he would only need 788 of those 1714 (46%) to reach 1991.

This is even with the 160 delegates already won by the five candidates who have dropped out and also the 10 delegates that Buttigieg is forecast to win in his home state of Indiana.

There is simply "no route to the nomination" for Sanders.

....he only has 39.6% of the delegates already allocated, and more than half the delegates have been allocated. He will fall far short of even 1700. It's not a final authority, but 538 forecasts that he won't even reach 1450.

Finally, in the 50+ years I've been following this, as far as I recall NO losing candidate has ever had a say in choosing the Vice Presidential candidate for either party - that has always been the decision of the Presidential Nominee.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

He didn’t bring the youth vote like he bragged he would. He didn’t increase his vote share any. He didn’t broaden his coalition any. He hasn’t even shown any inclination to work toward party unity or supporting down-ticket Democrats. He has the audacity to tell the rest of the patty and it’s voters that it’s his way or the highway, and insults and demeans anyone who doesn’t agree.

Women and minorities hate his guts. Especially after he and his malevolent minions had the malevolent audacity to call them, of all people “Establishment” Democrats.

Well, guess what? “Establishment” in this case means THE BASE, and no party will take kindly to a candidate who goes out of his way to attack their base.

In the end, he’s the same all hat, no cattle loudmouth poser he was the in 2016, and that means he has nothing new to offer. He has zilch the Democrats want that makes granting him concessions worth the while.

You get concessions only when you have something worth trading to grant them. He’s the same candidate he was in 2016, so the concessions he got in 2016 is all he’s going to get—because it’s all he deserves to get.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

There is no 50% for the self-serving fraud.

It takes 1991 delegates to win the nomination.

Biden currently has 1201 delegates. BS has 896.

There are 1677 delegates left. Even if the split was 50% from here on out, that would give each of them 838.5 delegates.

1201 + 838.5 = 2039 for Biden

Nomination DONE.

Wake up and face reality, burners.

There is no path forward for the self-serving fraud, so BS needs to stop gaslighting people to the contrary.

In fact, of the 1677 delegates left, the serving fraud will be lucky if he gets even 40% of them.

He won’t win the red states, especially not in OH. He won’t win Maryland or DC. He won’t win in CT, NJ or NY. He will be in RI and DE. And you are beyond naive if you think PA will vote against Scranton-born and raised Biden. That will be a blood bath in Biden’s favor.

BS needs to have the decency to step down while he has some shred of dignity left. Because he’s only going to look smaller, meaner and pettier as the Biden victories get bigger and more humiliating.
