Biden praises Kamala Harris as veepstakes speculation ramps up

Speculation that Kamala Harris could become Joe Biden's running mate went into overdrive after she dropped into a virtual fundraiser for the newly minted presumptive 2020 Democratic nominee.

Biden thanked the California senator for her endorsement, telling donors during the digital event Wednesday that her support means "a lot."

"I'm so lucky to have you as part of this, this partnership going forward," the two-term former vice president said. "We can make a great deal of difference, and the biggest thing we can do is make Donald Trump a one-term president."

Biden added, "So, I'm coming for you, kid."

I don't think she would recommend letting Trumpco slide in their crimes.

When Biden announced that his running mate would be a woman, that narrowed the field down to only about 3 realistic choices (Kamala Harris, Stacy Abrams, and Amy Klobuchar). I have been pushing Harris as Biden's running mate for a long time because I think she's the best choice. She's tough, smart, experienced, and is able to step right into the job and go from Day One. Also, it will just be fun to watch her completely dismantle Pence in the VP debate. Another added benefit is that I believe after 4 years as VP, she will have become a powerful candidate should Biden choose not to run for a second term.

And I said a long time ago that Biden-Harris just SOUNDS like a winning ticket. I think she is BY FAR the best choice, bar none (even if Biden WASN'T committed to picking a woman).

Biden/Harris wins Florida. Said it here way back. Wish I knew how to find old posts.

Win Florida you win the whole deal.

The base of our party in many states are African American women. Including here in Florida. They have kept the Democratic flame burning in the South when it seemed hopeless. This southern white male wants one on the ticket. You put her on the ticket and Georgia is in play. Virginia and North Carolina would be a lock. If the republicans have to play defense in Georgia the gig is up. The have taken it for granted for 20 years.

Best of all, I’ve heard their families are tight. She could be a huge mover in a Biden administration.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
