I will badmouth no Democrat

1. I am just 1 vote, a proud part of something larger;

2. Nothing good will come from me badmouthing any Democrat;

3. There is already too much disrespect for people who put themselves out there for public service; and

4. WE HAVE A NAZI IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

And believe such policies to be total losers in a general election.

In other cases, I find certain policies innovative and important, but I don't think all democrats will sign on to each one. For those that do agree, priorities may differ, so my preferences may fall to the bottom of the list, and never happen.

I am not going to vote in the primary for a policy that I think is a loser in the general. I'm also going to prefer a candidate who puts winner policies at the top of the list over one who puts them at the bottom.

You’re right. There was quite a bit of infighting in Al’s case.

I wish there were a path for redemption to allow politicians that have messed up to re-enter public service if their constituents want them back.

Al was such a strong senator for MN, I think the voters might re-elect him to the seat he vacated.

There are some policies that several of the candidates have that I do *NOT* like, and because of those I won't vote for them in the primaries. I won't 'trash' them ,but damned if I'm not going to say "HEY, THEIR POLICY ON THIS SUCKS'.

ALL policies and positions are fair game for attack. NOT personalities or character. I can like a candidate but proclaim loudly they are ass-backward on an issue to the point I won't support them in the primary, anyone who has a problem with attacking POLICIES can go to hell. Anyone who attacks the candidate themselves can do likewise.

I think the primaries have two vital purposes:

- To force all of the candidates to explain, defend, or publicly retract and disavow policies we, the voters, do not like, eventually ending up with electable candidates who are actual Democrats.

-to select the candidate with the best chance of winning.
