Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg on some Republicans opposing federal funding for the rebuilding of the Baltimores Key Bridge: This really needs to be a bipartisan priority, and anybody who views it as otherwise, Im hoping they will reconsider because it could be your district that is the next one to be struck by tragedy. - Aired on 03/28/2024.

So refreshing to hear calm, sane, intelligent level-headedness on the other side of Dump, MTG, Bimbobert, Jordan, etc.

Earlier on MSNBC they showed a clip from Fox "News" attacking him. They were saying that he was just a former mayor and was only chosen to fill a demographic - in so many words. Pissed me off since they seemed unaware of his military service in Afghanistan, that he was an Navy Intelligence Officer and that he was a Rhodes Scholar.
