Related: About this forumNJ Senate Candidate Larry Hamm on '70s Anti-Apartheid Protests at Princeton and Voting "Uncommitted"
Larry Hamm is chair of the Peoples Organization for Progress and a Princeton alumnus who took part in protests at the school in the 1970s to call for divestment from apartheid South Africa. He visited the Princeton student encampment earlier this week and says he is really proud of the students for their protest against the war in Gaza. Hamm, who is running in the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate from New Jersey, is promoting a vote for uncommitted in the states presidential primary vote. Im totally opposed to the Biden administrations approach to this genocidal war in Gaza. There must be an immediate and permanent ceasefire, and the United States should cease any military aid to Israel.

Really shot himself in the foot with his Line Lawsuit . . . Hamm is now the top of the candidates in my County. This is going to be one hell of a primary next month!

(15,160 posts)2. Not supporting the top of our ticket is a definate negative
And a reason to look at his opponent in the primary.
If he doesn't realize that not supporting biden is supporting trump, it is a definite weakness. Even at this stage, people will be be turned off for the general.
Something for nj dems to consider. Don't vote uncommitted.

(32,171 posts)3. There was a big line lawsuit
That candidate Andy Kim won. As a result - he's not the line holder in a few counties - there is NONE.
Hamm is at the top of our ballot in Hunterdon County. Can't make this shit up. He will LOSE LOSE LOSE in a general election.
