'Beyond the pale': Minnesota ICE shooting investigation triggers an exodus at the Justice Department - Deadline - MS NOW

Carol Leonnig, MS NOW Senior Investigative Reporter, and Michael Feinberg, Former Special Agent in charge with the FBI, join Nicolle Wallace on Deadline: White House to discuss a mass exodus taking place in the Justice Department with as many as 12 prosecutors leaving as a result of the leadership of the DOJ refusing the probe the Minnesota ICE shooting resulting in the death of an American citizen, and how the DOJ’s preference to instead probe the victim and their family members has caused a massive fissure between career law enforcement officials and Trump appointees. - Aired on 01/13/2026.
