Republicans Warn Trump: Invade Greenland and You'll Be Impeached - Decoding The Rhetoric

A Republican congressman just crossed a line that Trump has never faced before.

Rep. Don Bacon — a five-term Republican who voted against both Trump impeachments — publicly warned that if Trump follows through on his threat to militarily seize Greenland, it would likely end his presidency.

This is not coming from Democrats. This is coming from Trump’s own party.

Multiple senior Republicans are now openly opposing Trump’s Greenland threats, co-sponsoring legislation to block funding for any invasion of a NATO ally, and warning that impeachment would be unavoidable if Trump escalates further.

At the same time, a bipartisan congressional delegation is in Copenhagen reassuring Denmark that Congress does not support Trump’s actions — while Trump retaliates by announcing new tariffs against European allies.
