through colonialism and then after WWII wanting "a little Ulster" in the Middle East. Give the Palestinians Gloucester, Sussex, Wiltshire, or some county in England.

Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen anytime soon with Israel and the two state solution.

And the attacks back and forth with Iran didn't help. I keep thinking of President Carter and how hard he worked towards Middle East peace - and that was a few decades ago now. And now a two-state solution seems farther away than ever - and what is left of Gaza?
