NFLPA grievance: New England Patriots doctor put team ahead of patient

Again, if this was the Cowboys, Yankees, Lakers, USC, or any of the DU Sports Forum designated "Teams of Evil", this would be triple posted. BUT, this is a Boston team, and we all know that Boston teams are morally superior to ALL other teams until they are not.
Dear America, you cannot torture and kill everything that scares you.
Being scared is not justification for killing and torturing people, and that goes for both home and abroad.
Moving center-right for the Democrats is a failed strategy.
For many here, the Democratic party has done exactly what you suggested. Run center-right Dems in red states. Run away from the Liberal/Progressive platform and name. Run against Obama (and Clinton when he was president). Appeal to moderates and independents and ignore the Democratic base entirely.
They've done exactly what you've prescribed and look at the map. Look at the results that you're getting. The people in the red states are not as different than the people in the blue states. They want a positive vision of the future for themselves and their families. They want to know how to feed their family. They want jobs that pay better than minimum wage. They want to know how to compete in a global marketplace.
They're not hearing that from the Dems. All that they hear is, "I'm not Obama", "I'm pro-gun", "I'm pro dirty energy", etc. etc. etc.
If Democratic candidates ran on progressive ideas on a consistent basis...
they would win more elections over time than lose. Yes, in individual elections or cycles, they would lose here and there, but over time, they would win more because their ideas would resonate with the people.
For example, if Grimes actually ran against big coal and laid out a vision for a new future for KY free of depending on coal jobs, that would resonate with that 18-22 year old who wants a future other than working in a coal mine.
Tom Werner should step down as Red Sox Chairman and sell his stake in the team due to the Cosby...
scandal. Tom Werner made his fortune by producing the Bill Cosby show in the 80s. As producer on the show, he knew about the rape allegations and did nothing about it. He's on par with Joe Paterno.
He has denied having any knowledge at the time, but that is Bullshit:
