So they are going to investigate these 15 boxes of records taken to Florida, eh? Well if materials were removed from them, how the hell are we going to know what the really important stuff was that had been in there? Perhaps we can just ask one of the people involved if they stole anything from the boxes and when they say no we say well that’s good enough for us.
The reason that I’m so angry about all of this is if the shoe were on the other foot this would be 24 hours a day broadcasts of accused sedition, traitorous behavior, lying, and incarceration threats for lifetimes if not death by firing squad. Because that’s legal again too.
This Democratic National Committee, instead of showing up on TV and smiling all the time should get on the tube and be mad as hell about this stuff, which is by the way incontrovertible. This is the only way you’re going to get the attention of the so-called swing voters, and perhaps even convert a few of the diehards to at least becoming willing to listen to some degree of reason. The DNC by the way is the organization whose leader, Ed Rendell, actually stated on the David Brinkley show at the outset of the recount in 2000 that Al Gore should just concede and call it quits. Can you imagine a republican doing that, ever, they won’t admit that they lost an election they lost by a landslide much less conceding anything at all whatsoever.
They also need to get on the TV machine, and tell the minority community that they did what they were supposed to do by putting this incredibly brilliant woman on the Supreme Court and to make sure that they get off their behinds and vote in this next election and Not just give The control of Congress to these miscreants who would lie about what breakfast cereal they ate that morning just to keep in shape.
Pisses me off beyond belief…

Hypothetical scenario:
Let’s say just for the sake of argument and just for fun that a right wing blowhard editorial writer were struck and killed while riding his or her bicycle. Take your pick of whom, there are just so many of them out there with their pro-Putin/Russia, left-wing-hating-projection conspiracy theories that you could throw a stick out a window and hit seven of them… but I digress.
There would be so many conspiracy theories, investigations of the driver, inquiries as to what type of car had been involved whether it were foreign or domestic, the proclivities of the registered owner of the car, his or her children, parents, grandparents, and the country from which the family had emigrated five generations ago, and God knows what else. And God forbid if the person who accidentally killed the individual was of color, then all hell would break loose and calls for capital punishment and repression of that group would be flying fast and furious.
Just a thought on a rainy Wednesday in the northeast, the region where all subversive behavior is initiated. You’re going to have to excuse me, I have to go into my basement under the pizza parlor to do some stuff.
I'm "sorry", but I think it's time for a scorched-earth policy against
Republicans such as Graham and Cruz. I am good and goddamned sick and tired of listening to them say the most horrible things about our candidates, our nominees, and our voters, and we just sit back and smile and say they are “over reaching” or “that was ridiculous”. I think that there should be some real acidic remarks with no holds barred, and I’m sick and tired as well of us being so polite all the time because we don’t want to be like them. We don’t want to be like them? We don’t wanna be winners? Because you ain’t gonna win in America by being a nice guy, because you know what they say about nice guys.
We should find whoever was writing Don Rickels’ schtick and employ him/her to write some really nasty lines which will stick to these mealy-mouthed lying perverts. Couple that with some background research into their personal habits and preferences and it’d be Game On.
If I were writing a movie script:
The prologue would be the group of businessman meeting in Ukraine. In the cellar somewhere they would give assent to the prepositioned. operational people to do what they say needs to be done. The inference is that they withheld several atomic weapons rather than return them to Russia following the dissolution of the USSR. One of these weapons is going to be placed in a place and manner needed to teach the Russians a lesson.
Somehow, the Americans get wind of this and send the modern day equivalent of George Clooney coupled with Liam Neeson to prevent this from occurring, because the fear is that it will lead to nuclear war among all the countries which possess these armaments.

Fill in the second and third acts with the usual intrigue, close calls, and combination of suspense from the Day of the Jackal and Fail Safe, two classic films.
How this ends is anybody’s guess…endings of these books are often altered to preserve the life of the film star hero, an example of which is Black Sunday, wherein Robert Shaw survived but the literary character sacrificed his life to save the stadium and the fans.
RE: SNL Host Jerrod Carmichael
He piqued my interest last night so I watched his special on HBO this morning. He has an unusual approach for this day and age: he is thoughtful, interesting, amusing, on the mark, and extremely intellectually charismatic. I was entranced by the performance and the photography for the entire duration of the piece, and would recommend it to those who are interested in such things.
I actually woke up laughing this morning...
Well, smiling at least.
I thought of an analogous work situation to the “I don’t know what a burner phone is“ from you know who. The following never happened, is fictitious, and is a figment of my imagination.
A dental patient arrives at a dentist’s office stating that he has pain, terrible pain on his right side. The dentist looks at his mouth and takes x-rays of all of his teeth. The patient has severe disease in all four quadrants. He and the dentist agree that he needs to lose three teeth on his right side on that day to remove the cause of the horrific pain. The dentist administers nitrous oxide, anesthetizes the area with lidocaine injections and proceeds to extract three teeth from the patient’s LEFT side. Upon awakening, the patient is horrified that the wrong teeth were extracted. He runs out of the office, goes home, speaks to his brother-in-law, and immediately calls a lawyer who files a malpractice suit.
When the dentist is deposed, He is asked which side did the patient agree to have the teeth extracted. The dentist replies the right side. The opposing counsel asserts that the teeth were extracted from the left side. The dentist reports that as he was facing the patient it was on his right side, that being of the dentist. The lawyer states that it is customary for all identification of left right up and down is with respect to the patient. The dentist states that may or may not be customary as you say but he wanted the teeth out on the right side I looked at him from the front and took out those teeth. Indignantly, the lawyer states so you admit that you use the forcep to extract three teeth on this gentleman without concern for which side either of you were referring to? The dentist replies what is a forcep, I’ve never heard of a forcep. The lawyer replies that a forcep is the term for the instrument used to extract teeth from a skull and this is taught without exception in dental school. The dentist replies that in his experience the older surgeons who taught him use the term “pliers” in the clinic and he is unaware of what a forcep is so that question is extraneous. In fact, the dentist goes on to reply that since the plaintiff stated that the dentist used an instrument unknown to him then his entire case is invalid and should be dismissed immediately.
The attorney states to the judge that this logic is insane, and that the judge to deny the request for dismissal. The judge says to the lawyer that he himself happens to be a patient of this dentist, he’s always taken good care of him, and he sees no reason why not to dismiss the case since the patient’s teeth were admittedly compromised and so will have to lose them anyway, and that he’s known the dentist for years and is a nice guy. So therefore, case dismissed.
The lawyer is now sputtering, and he says judge shouldn’t you have recused yourself from this case since you know the defendant? And the judge replies are you casting aspersions on my character implying that I can’t rule on a case involving a few lousy teeth? I’m going to hold you in contempt, bail set at $250,000. Bailiff, take him away.

As a citizen of the United States, I absolutely resent the fact that this former president is allowed to conjure any and all devices to avoid both Arrest and prosecution, while individuals of lesser means and station are arrested and jailed indefinitely for some crimes with the vaguest of evidence and continue to be held despite clear evidence which exonerates the individual. This is not a double standard, this is a nightmare and the country has yet to awaken from it. I anxiously await the outcome of this process, and if nothing happens to these seditionists and traitors, I give up. I mean that: I. Give. Up.
