that term triggers me.

Because it was designed to be used as a pejorative towards the Democratic party.

My feelings were confirmed some time after the early 2000's Iraq invasion, by the great Keith Olbermann, in response to GWB using it. "....and it's DEM-O-CRA-TIC Party. Show some respect!":

So, for a while I used the term "republic party" every time IO have to refer to these grifters on internet social media.

It a efect in my moral character that I let myself "go low", but, geez, these people are " winning isn't everything, it's the only thing" so completely that they must be countered.

Cheating and bullying and lying is not what a major political party should stand for.

And this is just a start. I'll be fighting against American totalitarian fascsit police states until I die, or global warming ends our way of life as we know it and takes me with it.

The other side is taking Obamagate quite seriously

They contend that the obama admin and the fbi planted phony evidence of russian collusion in 2016 and that flynn is a patriot unjustly framed by the obama people WITH NO RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW.

In other words, the previous admin conducted themselves in a way similar to what barr is currently doing.

They seem to be making up their own new and improved facts.

I'm truly confused and now I have to revisit and review events of late 2016 and fact check what is rampaging like an out of control pandemic in conservative media.

In a private members only group i listed what i'd like to see happen to the trump clan when they loose and are called to account for their treasons. I warned at the onset the post was disturbing and read at your own risk.

I then listed about five or six unspeakably horrible medieval torture methods. Also suggested Ivanka should be thrown into a live volcano to help ward off the evil spirits this clan has poisoned our country with.

I channel hunter thompson when i really want to hyperbolically drive home my point. Like a frank zappa icepick to the forehead.
I’ve got to step up my self censorship. Can’t be a soldier in our social media civil war if you’re silenced by dah man!

Regarding the USPS fully funded pensions......

What other entities or corporations are required to fully fund their pension obligations seventy five years in advance?

I cannot comprehend any enterprise accumulating so much cash just to have it lay dormant for three quarters of a CENTURY?

To me "privatization" simply means corrupt crony capitalism and a handful of greedy sociopaths suddenly doubling the price of their goods or services simply because they can?

Gov't IS NOT A BUSINESS AND SHOULD NOT BE RUN LIKE ONE.

And I would not be surprised if the republics are currently fashioning legislation to make the U.S. Armed Forces become a PROFIT MAKING ENTERPRISE. Would be nice to "shock and awe" the Saudi Royal Family into turning over all their oil to the USA!

I vividly remember the propaganda being catapulted by GWB and Rummy and all those other PNAC imbeciles. I discovered DU during the Bush v. Gore unconstitutional tragedy and my bristling over republic corruption and lies following 9-11, when Cheney said we have to get those bastards that did this to us. I remember the good reporting links on DU at the time and the great Keith Olbermann's fearless journalism.

I also remember Chris as a cheerleader for the Iraq invasion, swept up in the fervor and deceit of the GWB administration. The first year or two he was enthusiastic about it and supported it. I remember all the false and misleading propaganda and "Americans better watch what they say" and Cheney stove piping bullshit to Judith Miller and then he could speak openly about classified info because it had been published in the NY Times.

It was frightening to watch the break down of journalistic ethics pretty much across the spectrum of MSM. I knew we were sliding into an invasion based on lies and it was unstoppable, so why not get on the bandwagon and worry about consequences later?

The gullibility and lack of integrity and ethics confirmed to me IT CAN HAPPEN HERE. And that is made easier by the likes of Matthews in MSM. Won't get fooled again? Not quite, more like will get fooled again and again and again and again.

And the end result; America is literally a full blown DICTATORSHIP with a moronic psycho bitch from hell having finally wrecked the gift our Founding Fathers gave us.

Good riddance to him and his kind.
