sorry to hear this

i'm sure nonnis are just as wonderful as nanas (my grandmother) and nonies (what my daughter called my mom) and losing them was devestating.

i read your post about her from 2005. lovely.

my sympathy to her family and loved ones

i believe when we pass we are reunited with those we have known and loved who have gone before us--and that there is great joy and celebration as they welcome us home.

the sadness and heavy hearts belong to those of us who remain here. but with a thought or a spoken word we can tug on the line that keeps us connected through love. and with love they are with us, watching out for us, helping us as we go through our journey here. although it may seem so, i believe we're never far apart.
