In 10 yrs. >40 mil will have Obamacare. At the same time they may register to vote.

This is what the Re/Teapukes truly fear! All their efforts at gerrymandering, $$ for media spin/propaganda, vote rigging etc. won't stop the onslaught of the majority/99% of voters.

The "little people", the forgotten, those who felt disenfranchised & lost will begin to feel engaged--in their own health & well being as well as their family's and feel as if they have a voice in our/their government.

The 1% can never be the majority. And they know this & fear it. That is why they would shut down a government that is majority ruled. The minority want control any way they can get it. Covertly the oligarchy has been working at legislating it's power & control over the workers. ALEC has been writing legislation and the Re/Teapuke puppets have been signing it.
The 1% has been financing it.
The 1% has real fear. They fear President Obama, the Democrats and mostly the mobilization of the masses.

Is Voter Registration Via Obamacare Insurance Exchange Application A Plot To Register Obama Supporters?

The conservative blogosphere has been completely beside itself over an entry in the application draft being proposed by the Department of Health & Human Services for those planning to participate on the state health insurance exchanges created by Obamacare.

Page 59 of the draft application, entitled “List of Questions in the Online Application To Support Eligibility Determinations For Enrollment” asks the applicant if he or she would like to register to vote. If the applicant responds “yes”, the individual is automatically linked to a voter registration form.

The right wing media instantly viewed this as an effort on the part of the Obama Administration to encourage those sympathetic to the President to register to vote. Apparently, those who oppose the Affordable Care Act are under the impression that only Democrats—or those who are “pro-Obama”—will be signing up for the benefits of the health insurance exchanges.

So loudly have the drums of the conservative media been beating that Congress has now gotten into the act.

Judge Orders Monitor in Ariz. Sheriff Profile Case

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the appointment of an independent monitor and a community advisory board to ensure that an Arizona sheriff is complying with constitutional requirements after finding his office engages in racial profiling.

U.S. District Judge Murray Snow found in May that the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Joe Arpaio singled out Latinos and deputies unreasonably prolonged detentions.

It was the first finding by a court that the agency covering Arizona's most populous county engages in racial profiling after a small group of Latinos sued the sheriff's office for violating their constitutional rights, saying they were being detained simply because of their race.

Snow had delayed ordering remedies in the case to allow time for both parties to reach agreements, but disputes over key issues prevented consensus.

In his ruling Wednesday, Snow ordered that a monitor be appointed to oversee the agency's re-training of deputies and ensure the office is complying with constitutional requirements. Snow also ordered the creation of a community advisory board aimed at helping restore the public's confidence, among other remedies.

DC-Area Restaurants Charging Congress Members More for Their Meals

Many restaurants in the DC area are offering "shutdown specials" to furloughed employees so long as government remains closed, but members of Congress looking to take advantage of the budget deals will find that their business is often less than welcome.

At least four eateries have announced that lawmakers are either ineligible for shutdown prices, or, in some cases, are required to pay more than the everyday prices for their food.

Top Chef star Bryan Voltaggio who owns Range on Wisconsin Ave is giving away free "Government Cheese" pizza pies to government employees with a valid ID, but members of Congress are "not eligible until you get your shit together."

At Kramerbooks & Afterwords Cafe on Connecticut Ave it's Happy Hour all day for everyone but Congressmen and women who will need to pay double for their drinks.

Same goes for The Daily Dish in nearby Silver Spring, where Congress pays double for coffee until the shutdown expires.

Tell Boehner: "Go Defund Yourself"

After more than 40 votes to repeal Obamacare, John Boehner and his House Republican caucus have taken their crazed obsession to a new level: They actually passed a bill that forced a government shutdown because Obamacare wasn't defunded.

Conspicuously absent from that bill, however, was a promise that Boehner and the Republicans pushing it would forgo their own salaries in the event of a shutdown.

House Republicans aren't doing their jobs as it is. Why should they still get paid if the rest of the government is shut down?

Send Boehner a message, and demand that House Republicans agree to forgo their salaries during a shutdown, and return any payments made to them.

This video speaks for itself in that McDonald’s chicken mcnuggets seem to contain some strange ingredients and substances that currently have no explanation. Health Ranger Mike Adams purchased a 10-piece chicken mcnugget meal from a McDonald’s restaurant and decided to examine them under carefully controlled conditions using a high-powered digital microscope. What he found was quite interesting as you will note in the video below.

Through his investigations, not only did he find weird fiber like objects, but there were a number of odd colors including a blue egg shaped object that resembled an antifreeze like glob.

What are these strange ingredients? We do not know. We also do not know if they are safe or unsafe to consume as not much is known about them. However, these mysterious ingredients are another great reason why we should avoid processed foods and stick with fresh, clean foods.
