Autism is from Neandertal genes!!!

http://www.rdos.net/eng

This guy's mix of circular reasoning and getting facts wrong is hilarious.

Edit: The idea itself isn't THAT farfetched, it's his BS "data" and his idiotic conclusions that are hilariously stupid.

GOP mindset: Women having sex is bad, Creepy Old Men having sex...

...is good. That pretty much sums up the beliefs of these idiots. The pill is bad, Viagra is good. Never mind that the majority of men with impotence still get "morning wood", indicating that the problem is not in between their legs...

Looks like bigotry against the mentally ill is OK on DU.

A jury let this crap by 3-3. Implying that mentally ill people are RWers is EXTREMELY offensive to people with mental health problems and the 3 jurors who are OK with this BS should be ASHAMED of themselves!

JURY RESULTS

A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Wed Feb 15, 2012, 09:20 AM, and voted 2-4 to LEAVE IT ALONE.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: I don't see this as a "don't vote" thread. Super PACs are a huge issue this election season - ignoring or hiding discussions about about them will not diminish their effect on the electorate in this election and elections to come.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: It's a point of view, nothing more, nothing less. In the name of healthy discussion and debate- I vote to leave it.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT and said: All this simply does is discourage people from voting.
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: It's an op-ed, which means it's opinion and intended to be a thought-provoking piece; and (unfortunately) I think it reflects the way many people feel. Hiding it would 'hide' discussion about what needs be done to address those (non)voters and problems with the system. It needs to be allowed to stand, IMO.

-----------

I would be OK with this thread were it not an election year, but using Citizen's United to imply that voting is useless acts to discourage LW voting turnout in an election where turnout is crucial.

Why do sci-fi books from the 60s and 70's have so many scatily-clad women...

...on their covers? Seriously, I think it's creepy.
