Anyone remember what happened the last time a socialist ran for POTUS?

He got elected then re-elected.

And he was black
And he was born in Kenya
And he had a radical, black Reverend talking crazy

Hillary supporters are carrying the water for Fox News and Karl Rove. Hillary supporters remember the days when those labels scared Americans to death. Obviously, they don't anymore. In fact, socialist polls favorably, today.

I've said for a while, Hillary's supporters are using the Fox fear mongering tactic. Fortunately, Fox viewers were never in play. Fox fear mongering tactics are making it challenging for Bernie to reach the 65+ demographic. But that makes a lot of sense, they are the only ones who remember when these labels were the boogie man.

Forget all else. Turnout is THE issue. Rs have it, we don't

Another historic primary. You've got a Democratic woman from the "Stay the course even if it means nothing gets done" Party vs an Independent hell bent on "blowing it all the fuck up even if it means nothing gets done."

It has nothing to do with primaries in general. 2008 was another historic Primary but today's turnout is nowhere near those numbers, state after state. You're argument falls apart because the same could have been said of 2008.

There seems to be some paralysis on the part of the Democratic electorate. Is it learned helplessness? Watching your Hope and Change get obstructed for 7 years could cause PTSD...???

At the same time, this primary has the Rs energized. They are setting turnout records state after state.

Something is going on and it's not good. This is a BFD, too.

Water under the bridge.

That's why I read a lot of articles. The Clinton policies ruined blacks economically and created a new industry based on incarcerating black men.

It appears to me that the R Party is 2 cycles ahead of Dems

The Rs were infiltrated by the Tea Party and its national pols have moved further to the right. Bernie has demonstrated one thing: the Third Way establishment is falling out of favor and being forced to, at least campaign, to the left as both Obama and now Hillary are doing. The radical R governs the way they campaign whereas the Dems campaign left, then govern right of center. To their own detriment: it can only turn people off. The next step would be to see a New Deal party aligned with Bernie's ideas to emerge. The Third Way is DOA.

Black voters have specific needs and issues. My policies "raise all boats" doesn't speak to them

they don't care about billionaires (and presumably 401Ks). Hillary is able to speak directly to issues that matter to them, not "global" issues. I'm a Bernie supporter. I could not understand why blacks would support a Clinton of all people. I did a lot of reading and noticed the polls are set in cement. This is what I've learned and the polls reflect it.

That's carrying the water for Rs. The message:

Dems have to work hard, Rs get subsidies and tax breaks - getting things for free - and the luxury of income distribution to the top. Try to redistribute income to grow the middle class, and Dems start shaming Dems.

Nice!

People are buying what MSM is selling: label based fear

Older folk who remember when labels worked watch MSM. Most are getting their information from alternative sources. We're kind of a funny bunch. We hate MSM unless it's convenient to use them to drive a wedge.

Bernie is at least as electable as a black socialist Kenyan with a radical reverend. For all their efforts, the Rs and their MSM army assaulted the American public with shock and awe labels in 2008, but all for naught. This shit only matters to older voters who recall when it was effective. It's so engrained, they reject evidence to the contrary: Obama got elected twice. Why, because people don't care about R labeling and MSM ginned up fear except older people who remember back in the day... Socialist polls favorably today.

Have you been under a rock for 20 years?

Better check those rose colored glasses.

The Clinton Dynasty, much like the Bush Dynasty, has fallen out of favor. They are a relic, the last hanger-ons of the Third Way. Arguably, Obama was a transition candidate who promised hope and change. He delivered the hope, but Hillary won't deliver the change. But most of all, Hillary has always been uncomfortable in her own skin. She changes her identity with the wind. It's understood that people evolve over time on certain issues. But there are limits. Eventually, it becomes a credibility issue. That's Hillary's greatest character flaw, and Bernie is giving her a free pass. As for foreign policy, she can teach a course on it at any university with Henry Kissenger, but they both exhibited shitty judgement. People are tired of Hillary's dumb wars.

2008 was a historic election, and she lost to Obama. It's 8 years on. Hillary is a relic of the Third Way and no one is taking her tack toward Bernie seriously. I'll better Bill's favorabilities are tanking, too. And Chelsea, the former hedge fund manager, is repulsive.

I would love for the DNC to release voter count on down ticket races.

I'm curious to know at what point people lose interest and where the DNC can do a better job educating Democrats. I get this uneasy feeling that people vote for president, then walk out. It might explain why so many people can't name their senator or rep. Anyway, I'm with you!
