Ryder cup- Watson a terrible choice

Even though the Euros are better Watson was the worst choice ever. I find him close to being the mind of a "retired person". He is 65 and he hasn't been in an active state in years. i'm 63 and my mind is sharp and the reason why I am active in business every day. I talk to some of the top lawyers and AGC's in the country. I am talking to super smart people every day and I can't make mistakes. i have to be sharp.i had a top attorney say to the person I sent in for a meeting "He can really spin a yarn"This is a top compliment from a person who spins yarns for a living.

Watson drank alot but the biggest problem is he went on to the senior tour where it is retirement city. I have a good friend who retired last year and this guy is already dropping off.

Watson has had his mind pushed in years.

His decisions on the captains picks and the way he has used his players have been pitiful(Webb Simpson). playing Phil 2 rounds the first day. Phil is 44 he doesn't have the stamina any more plus he had a mediocre year.

He burned out Fowler and Jimmy Williams the second day.

pathetic. He even comes across as feeble minded. Plus he's friends with rush Limbaugh.

Report: Rice video was sent to NFL

Source: ESPN

TLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- A law enforcement official says he sent a video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancée to an NFL executive five months ago, while league executives have insisted they didn't see the violent images until this week.

The official played The Associated Press a 12-second voicemail from an NFL office number on April 9 confirming the video arrived. A female voice expresses thanks and says: "You're right. It's terrible."

The law enforcement official, speaking to the AP on condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation, says he had no further communication with any NFL employee and can't confirm anyone watched the video. He said he was unauthorized to release the video but shared it unsolicited because he wanted the NFL to have it before deciding on Rice's punishment.

We are not aware of anyone in our office who possessed or saw the video before it was made public on Monday. We will look into it.

- NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy
The NFL has repeatedly said it asked for but could not obtain the video of Rice hitting Janay Palmer -- who is now his wife -- at an Atlantic City casino in February.

The league says it has no record of the video and that no one in the league office had seen it until it was released by TMZ on Monday. Asked about the voicemail Wednesday, NFL officials repeated their assertion that no league official had seen the video before Monday.

"We have no knowledge of this," N

TMZ, NFL, DA, Ray Rice and Janay

I know this is flame bait but I have given this incident some thought. Ray Rice did wrong and there is no excuse for hitting a women or anyone else. That being said let's take a look at TMZ and the NFL.

Who made TMZ the arbiter of morality. If they really wanted to do the right thing they would have gone to the NFL and shown them the video and given the NFL time to take the appropriate action. If they didn't then they could have released it to the general public.

The NFL should have suspended Rice for 8 games upfront. They knew he punched her. They were protecting themselves.

As far as I know Ray Rice went through the appropriate channels. He took a plea(which one of us would not have taken a plea). He was going to counseling. He took his suspension. How many of us would have asked for more time?

What TMZ has done is beyond character assassination. They have made him a pariah and Rice is now unemployable in the USA. How is that right? How does that help the family?

Janay was right it was all about TMZ and the media but no one has thought about the family.

The NFL dropped the ball.

It was right for a long suspension it is not right to make someone unemployable.
