Is anyone watching the HBO miniseries. that is my hometown and I lived on the west side where all the minorities lived. I lived not that far from Getty Square and Ravine Ave. was very close which was all African American. The other side of Yonkers(Roosevelt and Lincoln was all white while Yonkers high and Gorton was very diverse. looking back on this part of my life we just took for granted that we were diverse.
