What actor causes you to keep flipping channels, when you see s/he's in the movie?

When you're flipping channels for something to watch, what actor or actress do you see in a program that makes you keep on flippin'?

I'll go first.

Cohen Testimony (Rep. Katie Hill): Trump told me to say he didn't know about Daniels payment

Rep. Katie Hill elicits testimony that Trump called him during an interview w/a reporter on the Stormy Daniels (Stephanie Clifford) payment scandal, to tell Cohen to say that Trump didn't know anything about it. Trump had already discussed with Cohen beforehand that that's what the public messaging would be. Cohen also states there were 11 checks from Trump and the org. to repay him for the $130,000.

His initial statements were carefully worded, he said, so as not to be an outright lie. He left out information in his statement, and no one caught it.

(Whether Trump directly told him to lie in that phone call is unclear, since Cohen said at other times that Trump never directly told him that. He'd say, "There was no Russian business." And then they changed his draft of testimony to give Congress to change the date of ending of Moscow negotiations to be much earlier.)

Cohen testimony (Rep. Harley Rouda) elicits that Trump lied under oath about Russian Felix Sater

Rep. Harley Rouda (D-CA). This is testimony regarding Trump lying under oath.

Felix Sater, a convicted Russian mobster, was in business with Trump. Trump testified under oath in a lawsuit involving a Trump business that he barely knew Sater and might not recognize him, if he were in the room. Cohen states that Sater was in business with Trump, and had an office in Trump Tower, on the same floor as Donald Trump, and near Trump's office. In fact, Cohen got that office after Sater left.

BOOM. Cohen had a mtg w/Trump BEFORE his House Intel Committee testimony in 2017.

BOOM. Mtg was with Trump himself, and Jay Secolow (sp?).

OMG. This Repub Rep calls Cohen a "pathological liar"!

And says, "this is all about YOU, isn't it?" "You can't tell fact from fiction."

The nerve! With Trump the poster boy for pathological lying, narcissistic, not based in reality...they have the nerve to reflect that on Cohen?

That's straight out of Trump's playbook of calling the opponent what YOU are.

Cohen is losing his cool.

He is being hammered, and his statements misrepresented, and irrelevant things brought up....all to attack Cohen. This is going to be a rough day, as Republicans jockey to get their 2 min sound bites on the evening news, and seek to destroy his personally.

I was hoping he would keep his cool. But he got a little upset there with the last 2 Republicans interrogators (or rather, speech makers). He did all right, but not as cool as before.

I hope he can keep his cool.

The problem with mob members who turn on "the family," is that they are dirty. They were part of a dirty business. These sorts of witnesses are always dirty. Who else would have been part of the inner circle and have intimate knowledge of the family's crimes?

As long as documentation, communications, and testimony by others supports Cohen's testimony, it's a done deal for truth seekers (the law). Which of course leaves behind Republicans, since they are not truth seekers. They won't even let him answer sometimes.

The chair needs to intervene, so Cohen can finish his answers, when they cut him off.

Trump once called executive action on immigration dangerous, unconstitutional and impeachable

President Donald Trump once said taking executive action on immigration was an unconstitutional action that could lead to impeachment. (snip) Trump made the comments on Fox News' "Fox and Friends" in November 2014 when asked about executive actions by then-President Barack Obama that would halt deportations for the undocumented parents of children born in the United States. (snip)

Trump was also asked if the Obama had committed any impeachable offenses. He said Obama could certainly be impeached for his executive action on immigration.

"Well, he certainly did something that was unconstitutional," Trump said. "Now, it depends on Justice (John) Roberts. If he wants to just curry favor in the Beltway like he did with Obamacare, because that's the only reason he did it. Because he knows he was wrong, but it certainly depends on what happens. I mean, I think certainly he could be impeached and certainly they could shut down the government."

The comments from Trump echo a tweet he sent, also from November 2014, in which he wrote, "Repubs must not allow Pres Obama to subvert the Constitution of the US for his own benefit & because he is unable to negotiate w/ Congress."

I especially love that Trump criticized Chief Justice Roberts' prior decisions and motives (to curry favor in the Beltway, instead of deciding based on the law and facts).

This guy is such a con man. That's why Trumpers love him. He's as two-faced as they are. They take whatever legal position to have to, to support themselves and anything they want to do.
