Fake threat?

McAfee keeps popping up with 'alerts' that I've been infected, sometimes obliterates my whole screen. My MS security system says all is well. So how do I get the McAfee crap to go away???

Edit to add: Restarted, it came back. Did the control F4, it came back. Installed and ran malwarebytes, it showed no viruses, still getting the McAfee pop ups. Powered off, waited a while, pop ups came back while the page was repopulating. Did the control F4 again, still getting the popups. Now the nighttime meds are kicking in, I'm not going to try anything further tonight; I just shut down and try again tomorrow. Thanks everyone!

Well, that was . . . interesting.

Tried something called "crustless pizza". Frozen meal, so taste was as expected. But the texture left much to be desired, mostly gooey, didn't lend itself to mastication. The melted cheese clearly needed something to cling to, its goopy appearance doing nothing for the appetite. Halfway through I gave up and fixed a sandwich. But at least I can say I tried. Eeeesh.

When Eichmann was captured and put on trial, the news photos showed him inside a glass box, ostensibly for his protection. A similar measure would be useful in Trump's trial, less to protect him than to protect everyone else in the room from his gaseous emanations. Seriously.
