Chris Wallace says it isnt his job to truth squad, though some journalists strongly disagree.

NEW YORK ― When Donald Trump hits the debate stage in a few weeks with Hillary Clinton, its not hard to imagine the Republican nominee challenging his Democratic rivals foreign policy judgment by falsely claiming ― as hes done dozens of times ― to have been a staunch critic of the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, the moderator for the third presidential debate, said in a Sunday interview that it isnt his role to call out the candidates false claims.
Thats not my job, Wallace told his Fox News colleague Howard Kurtz. I do not believe that its my job to be a truth squad.

For the first time, Fox News has been selected to moderate a presidential debate.
The Presidential Debate Commission selected Chris Wallace, host of Fox News Sunday, to moderate the third presidential debate, scheduled for October 19 in Las Vegas.
Wallace appeared on Fox News Media Buzz to discuss what his selection meant to him personally and what it means to Fox News.
The host of the program, Howard Kurtz, asked Wallace, What do you do if they make assertions that you know to be untrue?
Thats not my job, Wallace replied, without skipping a beat. Its not my job to be a truth squad.

Washington (CNN)One of Donald Trump's top supporters insisted Sunday that the Republican nominee is backing away from one of his most controversial immigration proposals: mass deportations.
In an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union," former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Trump doesn't want to break up immigrant families in America.
Giuliani told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" that Trump "would find it very, very difficult to throw out a family that has been here for 15 years and they have three children, two of whom are citizens. That is not the kind of America he wants."

After one of the strongest earthquakes ever to hit Oklahoma struck Saturday, state regulators ordered oil and gas companies to shut down all their wastewater disposal wells in a 725-square-mile area around the site of the quake's epicenter near Pawnee.
The seismic activity immediately raised suspicions that it was linked to injection wells that oil and gas companies use as part of fracking and other operations.

Donald Trump's appearance at an African-American church in Detroit went wrong, as the congregation rejected Trump by not showing up to hear him speak.

The image has outraged many in the state, as it comes just five years after another Arizona Democratic congresswoman was shot in the head at a public event.
Former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ), who survived the attempted assassination in 2011 but remains partially paralyzed with limited speech, joined the chorus of voices demanding the state GOP remove the irresponsible poster and apologize.

Do you like to have the tacos? We are fans of having the tacos and we do not mean like Taco Bell, although Taco Bell is gorgeous and godly in its own way. We also do not mean like that taco bowl trash the Trump Tower mess hall cuts up into itty bitty bite-sized pieces so Donald Trump is able to grasp it with his little rat fingers.
