Today's sexist Joke.......about women..beware !!!!!

> 1. It is important to find a woman that cooks and
cleans well..
> 2. It is important to find a woman that makes good
money....
> 3. It is important to find a woman that has an
insatiable appetite for great sex....
.
> 4. It also is very important that these three women never ever

Romney and Obama on Election Night..true story.

Yesterday, I talked to a man who happened be be at McCormick Place in Chicago, where Obama was going to speak.. He knew someone who was on the tech staff of either McCormick Place or one of the stations covering the event. He had no way of getting in since he did not have a "pass"..As he stood around this huge building, someone came up to him with a handfull of passes. She said, "Would you like to go in and see the President speak?"..so he accepted from an unkown person went through the detectors and was in the hall when Obama gave his speech (along with 10,000 others)..The lady continued to give away "passes"..I guess they wanted the hall to be full. He surely wasn't close, but he was in.. But it wasn't an exclusive event by a long shot.

Romney had an exclusive event for only the top contributors. He was sure he was going to win, so he invited the most important people who gave the most money. That is what is important to him. Ties and tuxcedos etc...we all know about it..

So there it is...who these people really are....
(by the way...in 2008, Obama gave an open air speech in Grant Park..all who wanted to be there could be there...sure you couldn't see much from far away...but...open to all who could make it...I wish I had been there, but I know people who were, even though they couldn't see, it was truly a heartwarming event in 2008)

Five reasons why I am happy today..

The rehab place I was at for hip surgery had only one computer in the basement, I was following the lead up to the election from there, after I got well enough to walk around the place. The one site I went to most often was Nate Silver's 538. He got it exactly right, and that is really amazing.

I am so happy that an openly gay woman won in Wisconsin, because it proves to me, that this garbage about gender really doesn't matter anymore..(in most places) We need to accept each other and forget about what people do in the bedroom.
I am also very very happy that those nuts who talked about rape being some sort of God thing, and the resulting fetus must be kept, that they went down..almost all, of them. That is the mother's decision, not some male who thinks he has some direct link to God.. Let those men who talked that way be gone forever
I am glad that marijuana became legal in places..What a waste of time and money going after people who use pot..Reminds me of the insanity around booze in the 20s during prohibition..
I am happy that the most respected politician in the world who is currently governing a major country won.
I am happy that perhaps the President can appoint some sane members to the Supreme Court who will overrule Citizens United.

Perhaps we can accept the results and try to work together to improve this country..There was so much hate and anger during the election against this President.for lots of reasons. Maybe things will improve..Let us hope so...
