When you are thought as being "wrong", -1972 results. Same will happen, Nov 2018 against Trump

George McGovern............. Democratic 17 .........29,150,000

McGovern was thought to be wrong and ran a lousy campaign. Lots of things went "wrong"...I recall and so do many here.

None of those things compare to the U.S.Government,.. on orders from the President...taking children from their parents....Babies from their parents put in strange rooms...

We are not looking at a "minor loss" for McGovern. McGovern made mistakes that made him look "bad"

Now, Trump ordered the taking of children from their parents. We all know that is wrong. So, when the election comes, a third may be in favor of this crap....But two thirds will be against this and vote with the Democratic Party. It is this country's only voice on this. Yes, the election is more than 4 months away. But people will never forget this..never....Those of us that see this as inhuman, in places where there is "competition" will voice their opinion, just like in 1972. The difference is..Trump is totally evil in what was done...November is the country's chance to voice its opinion.

...... The results will show this truth. .... This holding of children was/is incredibly wrong...... In November where there is competition...the Republicans will lose big. Their largest loss ever. Why? As a vocal protest to this awful, inhuman, thing that Trump did. ....I will be proud when the results come in 4 months and 3 weeks from now.

NY Governor Cuomo's Lawsuit Against Trump Could Be Our Only Hope..

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) announced Tuesday that he will launch a multi-agency lawsuit against the Trump administration for its separations of families at the border, citing the infringement of the constitutional rights of the children and families.

“The Trump Administration’s policy to tear apart families is a moral failing and a human tragedy,” he said. “We will not tolerate the constitutional rights of children and their parents being violated by our federal government. New York will act and file suit to end this callous and deliberate attack on immigrant communities, and end this heartless policy once and for all.”

It might take some time, but if it gets to the Supreme Court, and if the Supreme Court rules this is "illegal" then Trump must return the children to their parents. Once that happens, at least there would be a rule that the parents can get their children back. Doing that, for all, will be very difficult. But the order will be in, and that must be done...
