"One side in Charlettesville was bad and one side was violent", Trump says

http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/15/politics/trump-charlottesville-delay/index.html

CNN) — President Donald Trump, in a staggering, impromptu news conference in New York on Tuesday, blamed the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend on both sides of the conflict -- equating the white supremacists on one side with the "alt-left" on the other side -- after his top White House aides spent days trying to clean up after Trump's initial vague response to the violence.

The news conference laid bare his unvarnished view of who was to blame for the violence and what he thinks about the nationwide effort to remove statues of Confederate leaders. Trump's comments were the latest in what has been a jaw-dropping saga ever since the President made his first vague statement on the violence, blaming the conflicts on "many sides." The comments also made clear that Trump's speech on Monday -- which vociferously blamed the violence on the "alt-right" and neo-Nazi groups who initiated the protest -- was largely a sterilized version of his view

"What about the 'alt-left' that came charging at, as you say, the 'alt-right,' do they have any semblance of guilt?" Trump asked. "What about the fact they came charging with clubs in hands, swinging clubs, do they have any problem? I think they do."

He added: "You had a group on one side that was bad and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent. nobody wants to say it, but I will say it right now."

Saying "both sides caused this" .a second time.......will sink him

He has speeded up the process. He is so wrong, and bringing this up again was the stupidest thing he could have done. He couldn't leave it alone. Only time will tell. He could be gone a lot sooner than we thought. By adding fire to this on Tuesday, this one idea will stay alive the rest of the week. And this will always be "him"
As we think back, this is it..

About 325,000,000....people in the USA. #3 in the world...that is why so many crazies.

People wonder why so many crazies..??? lots of people in the USA...that is why..

Now, you don't hear so much about how many kind people in the USA..do you?..(although there is a current story on DU about a 92 year old man building homes.. who is also very kind)...

We have lots of different kinds of people here. They vary in age, height, intelligence, wealth, education, background and every single kind of characteristic that you can think of. I am thinking, (I do not know) that we have the most diverse population of any country. We have incredibly smart people and incredibly dumb people. Our people vary..Why? People come from many other countries to live here..Land of Opportunity someone said.. Our country varies. We also probably have (I do not know) the most diverse geography for people to live in, in the entire world..

So, we have lots of different kinds of people here. And there are lots of crazies. But there are lots more non-crazies . A whole lot more non- crazies than crazies.. Oh, and the crazies are crazy in lots of different ways. Just as the good people are good in lots of different ways. Just think of the ways people can be good and bad, kind and evil, and we probably got examples of those people right here in the good old USA. But...why so many???? We got a third of a billion people, (give or take a few million) that is why...

An incredible advance in education and learning about past events...hit this link below, but..

BUT PLEASE READ THIS POST FIRST...thank you....

The story is about a Life Magazine article..from May 20, 1946. But the second post..number 2, explains an incredible advance in Education, research, and ability to get information about past events. An advance that you are experiencing right now and take for granted. That did not exist in 1946, or 56 or even 86..No. the internet was not that extensive even in 96 although it was growing and was accessible to many. Right now, this internet is available because we have it in our homes, with a computer too. It is now available to all at libraries across the country in every state and every city or town. People walk around with hand held computers and don't pay attention to traffic.....................
.... 17 years ago, in the year 2000, there were just 4 computers available at my local library. Now, the whole place has them everywhere. You even check out your books and other materials using a computer. This advance in education and research is remarkable..Yet, we take it for granted every moment of every day..About 4 feet from this chair, I have a table with a typewriter sitting..totally neglected and never used. How people get information and communicate has made a remarkable change in just 20 years....Hit the link and look at an old Life Magazine...pretty easy ...I would say so..........Something else that is also unbelievable...the computer highlights words that are spelled wrong,,,and in some cases even corrects the spelling...

I worked Precinct Politics. went door to door..a long time ago..

For Humphrey and McGovern. I have talked to many who have done this within the last few years. Guess what? It is still the way that elections are won and lost...It is very hard work, but if enough is done, and the candidate is worthy, it often makes the difference.

High school softball player strikes out everyone in perfect game

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2017/05/27/high-school-softball-player-strikes-out-everyone-in-perfect-game/

________________________________________________________________________________________
New Jersey’s Cedar Grove High School softball player Mia Faieta didn’t use the words “monumental” or “history-making” or even “unbelievable” to describe the true perfect game she pitched Friday against North Warren. Instead, she simply said she had a good time.

“This was fun,” the sophomore told News 12’s Sean Reilly after the game that left the reporter’s scorebook looking like a rare work of art.

“I knew as the game kept going on a that I had more and more,” Faieta told Reilly, referring to her unmatched dominance. “I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t want to jinx it. I had the three in first inning and thought maybe I could keep doing it. Then I realized after a while that maybe it could happen.”

Faieta struck out all 21 hitters in the seven innings that make up full high school softball games. While she knew she had it in her, it took her coach a little longer to realize what was about to happen.

for non baseball fans...a K on a scorecard stands for a........"strikeout"...kind of obvious, and I haven't got a clue where that came from or why it is a K. But what an accomplishment...striking them all out..

What if... Clinton had won, and Chelsea had done what Jared is accused of?

What then?....An interesting thought game about republicans.

.Ryan, Mc Connell, etc...How would they be acting now? Asking for a private line to Russia? Financial Dealings with Russia...etc..etc..etc.

How would republican leaders and that party as a whole, be talking if it were Chelsea not Jared?
Right now there is still some talk about the so called..........emails.....and a server...even today.

So, How awful are these people? I do not think that Chelsea would have one moment of peace if the situation were reversed.. and..If Clinton were President, where would Trump be in this story about Chelsea?
Would the impeachment of the President already have started if it were Chelsea?.

.This game about Chelsea focuses on what true hypocrites they are. I don't hear much about Jared from McConnell and Ryan. (or most of them for that matter)..yes a few...but most are very quiet..But what do you think?

CEO Pay By The Numbers..How Big Were Last Years Raises: PalmBeachPost.com

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/business/ceo-pay-the-numbers-how-big-were-last-year-raises/2jWVKzcu4fR3z3goDUcjBO/

Warning:...kind of obscene ...but no sexual references of any kind. this is about ...money...!!!!
________________________________________________________________________________________
The bump reflects how well stocks have done under these CEOs' watch. Boards of directors increasingly require that CEOs push their stock price higher to collect their maximum possible payout, and the Standard & Poor's 500 index returned 12 percent last year.

Over the last five years, median CEO pay in the survey has jumped by 19.6 percent, not accounting for inflation. That's nearly double the 10.9 percent rise in the typical weekly paycheck for full-time employees across the country.

Here are some other highlights from the AP's annual package of stories on CEO pay, which was published this past week. To see the full roundup, please visit apnews.com/tag/SpecialReport:CEOpay

The top-paid CEO last year was Thomas Rutledge of Charter Communications, at $98 million. The vast majority of that came from stock and option awards included as part of a new five-year employment agreement, and Charter's stock will need to more than double for Rutledge to collect the full amount.

No. 2 on the compensation list last year was Leslie Moonves of CBS, who earned $68.6 million. No. 3 was Walt Disney's Robert Iger, who made $41 million. The media business is full of big paychecks, where actors and other employees far from the executive suites can make millions of dollars, and the industry's CEOs have traditionally pulled down some of the country's biggest packages.

I recall a meeting of European leader that Bush attended in 2008..

There was a picture of Bush on stage...and nobody...that is correct..nobody..came up to shake his hand to say hello. Bush looked around and wondered why he was.."all alone on stage"...Other leaders were in small groups talking with each other..Bush Junior was all alone..And he knew it, and the other leaders did that on purpose...(my opinion only...it was in response to Bush's lie..."We do not torture"..then proof was published that we did torture)

(someone can get that one and put it up)

No one would talk, or wanted to even say hello, to the elected leader of the United States...AND...
This will happen with Trump...but...............

Look at the kind reception that Obama gets...It is about the person, not our country..Obama is still the most respected person in the entire world...He was our leader 6 months ago..Obama gets a great reception....

So, it ain't about the United States, it is about the person in charge of the United States.
..in my opinion.

A new term that I saw to describe Drump...."noxious flesh bag"

I needed to share this with you. Now it is true, that this term to describe Trump, may have been posted here before, but I saw it somewhere else for the first time..., and wanted to make sure others saw it and appreciated it. Just a note of information..The world will go on without this, but it could bring a smile to some....
