12 People Killed in Mass Shooting at Bar

https://www.cnn.com/

People jumped out of windows and hid in bathrooms to escape the shooting in Thousand Oaks, California. Officials say the gunman is dead. The Ventura County Sheriff's Office is still trying to make sense of last night's shooting at Borderline Bar & Grill, as they cope with the death of a longtime sheriff's sergeant, Capt. Garo Kuredjian said.

It's unclear if all the victims inside the bar have been identified or if all of their families have been notified, he said.

“It’s absolutely horrific," he told CNN affiliate KABC. "If you can imagine young people out on a Wednesday night, having a good time, at a bar they’ve probably been to many times. Thousand Oaks, one of the safest cities in the United States, and something like this happens. We’re trying to make sense out of the senseless, it’s absolutely tragic.”

The shooting was reported at 2:19 a.m. ET inside the bar in Thousand Oaks, Kuredjian said.

Now let's say that this Press War gets far worse, does not calm down..Then, maybe impeachment!!!

Going after freedom of the press, is an easy to understand reason to impeach and convict..

Let's say Trump calms down, and let's this go in a few days. And acts rational..not exactly an apology, but somehow gives the impression that he went off, and is sorry...(he doesn't have to say it, but gives that impression)..ok that might happen.............and things quiet down............or...

Trump doubles down on his anger with the press, after his son is indicted in the next few days..So he goes off again, in a similar manner. Like he lost his marbles..and couldn't get them back..Worse the 2nd time...in a day or two, in front of the entire country...proof that impeachment is needed with conviction.

Maybe it will get better, and maybe it will get worse...What a show...

Step one in impeachment of President:

The first step, impeachment, is a formal accusation by a simple majority of the House of Representatives. This vote leaves the accused in office, while he is "tried" by the Senate.

two words...simple majority

Trump can fire whoever he wants in the executive branch. But he cannot fire Schumer nor can he fire Pelosi, or Tester. Yes he can fire Sessions or Rosenstein because they work in the executive branch.

Schumer, Pelosi or Tester were/are elected by the people as part of the legislative branch He cannot fire them because they do not work for him. He does not like them, but he cannot fire them.

Now, a simple majority..435 divided by 2 plus one is 218. Democrats have a simple majority...as of the start of the Congress in January. That is a simple majority of the House of Representatives.

Mr. Trump does not like that at all. I wonder why? But I lied, .like Mr. Trump... ..We all know why Trump does not like the fact that the Democratic Party has a simple majority Is that correct?

(sorry about typo..corrected, not 235, but 435)

About Robocalls...FTC Consumer Info..

What's the Reason for the Spike in Robocalls?

Technology is the answer. Companies are using autodialers that can send out thousands of phone calls every minute for an incredibly low cost. The companies that use this technology don't bother to screen for numbers on the national Do Not Call Registry. If a company doesn't care about obeying the law, you can be sure they're trying to scam you.

What's the FTC Doing About Robocalls?

During the last few years, the FTC has stopped billions of robocalls that offer everything from fraudulent credit card services and so-called auto warranty protection to home security systems and grant procurement programs. Tracing these calls is a tough job:

Many different companies use the same or very similar recorded messages.

Robocallers fake the caller ID information that you see on your phone. That's called caller ID spoofing — and new technology makes it very easy to do. In some cases, the fraudulent telemarketer may want you to think the call is from your bank, or another entity you've done business with. Sometimes, the telephone number may show up as "unknown" or "123456789." Other times, the number is a real one belonging to someone who has no idea his or her number is being misused.

Robocallers often place the calls through internet technology that hides their location.

What Should You Do If You Get a Robocall?

If you get a robocall:
•Hang up the phone. Don't press 1 to speak to a live operator and don't press any other number to get your number off the list. If you respond by pressing any number, it will probably just lead to more robocalls.
•Consider contacting your phone provider and asking them to block the number, and whether they charge for that service. Remember that telemarketers change Caller ID information easily and often, so it might not be worth paying a fee to block a number that will change.
•Report your experience to the FTC online at or by calling 1-888-382-1222.

One last arguement to use against "not sure" voters..About Trump.

The election is about Trump and his inherent meanness and viciousness. How to make a statement against Trump that everyone understands..

....A person is killed by a shooter. This person is a very good friend who you have known all your life.
Do you want the shooter to show up at your friends funeral? It is that simple

...It seems possible that Trump's language caused someone to "go off" and kill people in a temple. The families of those killed and the people that lived in the city where the killing took place, told Trump not to go to the city. While he didn't show up at the funeral, he showed up in the city about the time of the funerals to show that he can do what he wants and no one tells him what to do.

...How does one take a stance against an individual has so little concern about people killed that he does the opposite of what the friends and relatives of the deceased requested? A person can take a stance, and tell the "not sure" voters, that this is an opportunity to vote against Trump and send a message. "You were wrong for doing that."

It is that simple. Everyone understands what Trump did in this case. But the chance to voice an opinion is now, a short time afterwards. How insensitive can anyone be? Tell the "not sure voters" if you know any, that this is the time to take a stand against Trump and his disrespect. Vote Democratic.

..This may work in one in 25 cases of "not sure" thinkers. But it is simple and clear. And it will work with some.
Anything that will sway the "not sure voters" to our side is worth a shot.
