Even Fox News Is Tired Of Lindsey Graham's Groveling For Donations
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Tuesday returned to begging voters for campaign donations during a Fox News appearance successfully making a first plea before he was abruptly cut off during a second attempt to scrounge for contributions.
The South Carolina lawmaker shamelessly groveled for donations twice during Laura Ingrahams show as he faces perhaps one of the toughest reelection bids of his career before the network cut him off:

Tuesday night was not the first time Graham, who faces a formidable fundraiser Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison has asked for cash on Fox News:

Her Republican colleagues had, up until then, been civil. But one day in late July, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stood on the steps of the U.S. Capitol while Representative Ted Yoho lost his shit. The Florida Republican, incensed by the New York congresswomans recent comments linking crime and poverty, jabbed his finger in her face, calling her crazy and disgusting. She froze. The situation felt dangerous, with Yoho towering over Ocasio-Cortez, who calls herself five-five on a good day. Congressman Roger Williams, a Texas Republican, bumbled next to him like a wind puppet at a used-car dealership. She told Yoho he was being rude and went into the Capitol to vote. As Yoho descended the steps, he called her a fucking bitch. A reporter nearby witnessed the exchange, and soon the whole world had heard the epithet.
This part hasnt been reported: The next day Ocasio-Cortez approached Yoho and told him, You do that to me again, I wont be so nice next time. She felt his actions had violated a boundary, stepping into the zone of harassment, discrimination. His mocking response, straight out of Veep: Oh, boo-hoo. Publicly, Yoho doubled down, issuing a non-apology on the House floor, citing his wife and daughters as character witnesses.
Ocasio-Cortez flashed back to one of her first jobs out of school, when a male colleague whom shed edged out for a promotion called her a bitch in front of the staff. She had been too stunned to reply, and no one came to her defense. She wouldnt let it happen again.
Forty-eight hours later, Ocasio-Cortez delivered one of the most eloquent dunks in political history, a thank u, next for the C-SPAN set, taking on not just Yoho but the patriarchy itself. She took care to enter fucking bitch into the Congressional Record. I want to thank him for showing the world that you can be a powerful man and accost women, she told the House. It happens every day in this country. And the line that spawned headlines, T-shirts, hashtags, and memes: I am someones daughter too.
The 2020 horse race may be between two white, male septuagenarians, but it is a millennial Puerto Rican Democratic Socialist who produced a seminal political moment. Her Yoho rebuke inspired a fresh wave of awe for the youngest U.S. congresswoman in history and cemented her status as neopolitical iconnot just good on Twitter (where she schooled her congressional colleagues in a tutorial) and Instagram Live (where she gave an impromptu address on the dark night of Ruth Bader Ginsburgs death), but a skilled orator with the power to move even her most cynical congressional colleagues. They were like, I didnt know youre that eloquent, Ocasio-Cortez says with a wry smile. Im so pleased and surprised by your restraint.

In its secret chat, the group that sprang from Charlottesville is creating a new generation of white supremacists.

At the core of my position are these principles: The categorical rejection of the notion of equality. The categorical rejection of universal democracy. Explicit In-Group preference. Logan TN

Those are just some of the hundreds of messages exchanged by the members of Patriot Front, a 3-year-old white supremacist organization that has grown into one of the most active hate groups in the United States. The messages reveal a sophisticated network of extremists who are training for violence.
The men, who believe the United States is a nation that belongs only to white people, wear uniforms made up of bomber jackets, face coverings, and beige khakis, mandate weight loss and intense workouts, and regularly practice hand-to-hand combat. Some openly call themselves supremacist and revere Hitler and Mussolini.
BuzzFeed News has received a cache of hundreds of messages exchanged by Patriot Front members on Rocket.Chat, an encrypted group messaging app. In logs of the chats, all from this year, around 280 members of the group discuss grandiose goals creating a white ethnostate from the existing United States. The group wants to expel immigrants, people of color, and Jews, remaking the fabric of America.
