Where is Skinner?
I've been thinking about this for awhile. I wish Skinner and Co. would become more active in our discussions. One of the things I used to love about TPM, before Josh became so overwhelmed, is he'd occasionally jump in on a discussion. It was like having the President show up at a campaign headquarters.
Whenever I see a post by Skinner, I feel validated in some weird way. Like, 'OMG!! He loves us!' Okay, maybe that's a bit far-fetched, but one of the reasons I love this place is it's 'small town' feel. I'd like to hear from the mayor and city council from time to time.
So, a shout out to Skinner and Elad...don't be shy! We won't bite...someone will probably just alert on you or start a thread about you in Meta. Oh...shit. 
Edit: I just realized it sounds like I've left EarlG out. I haven't. He gives us hilarious pix almost every day. 
Anyone know what to do if you're seeing spots?
Do you think it has anything to do with staring at pics of Dalmatians for almost 2 hours?

According to Hannity/Carlson, I'm a racist or bigot.
I'm from Chicago, born, raised and lived there for 37 of my almost 48 years. Though I've been in AZ long enough that most of my Chicago accent is gone, when I get together with anyone from Chicago (especially my son) that accent mysteriously comes back with a vengeance.
It's not a conscious act, but it's noticeable enough that one particular friend of mine that was born/raised in AZ starts laughing and mutters 'Da Bears'. Yes, we sound stereotypically like an old SNL skit.
This also means that anyone of any region with a discernible accent or mannerisms is, in fact, a racist or bigot. All my friends from the east coast are especially racist and bigoted. My family from Louisiana...racists. My friends from Mexico...bigots and racists. All those friends from NY??? Holy hot damn...total friggin' racists!!!
It's so sad that we can't all talk like 'normal white folk' like Hannity and Carlson.
I guess there's only one thing left to say, Sean and Tucker? Yous guys are assholes. Fuck yous!!! Now, get me a damned Italian beef before I smash yer stupid face into a brick wall.
