The Pulitzer Prize should go to Rachel Maddow.

If there is any journalism that has a key evidentiary witness to the president's, his vice president's and his secretary of state's conspiracy to bolster the president's treason, this is it.

If Maddow doesn't get the Pulitzer for this, then no one should.

Maddow gives the master class in journalism's key help to those who live up to their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution.

Maddow is the heart of the Fourth Estate.

Rachel Maddow On The Trump Era -- The Gaslighting, Hillary Hate Era

The vile, poisonous, damned lies this country has been fed by Mr. Lock Her Up, now Mr. Lock HIM Up.

The vicious hybrid war of lies -- for decades, across continents -- against the greatest and most admired woman of her time.

We must not let them quietly slink away with their reptilian tales.

Nor should the New York Times be allowed peace.

NYT owes the nation an editorial of apology.

WHY does Speaker Pelosi say she will send the Articles of Impeachment next week? Has she said why?

Nothing has changed.

Not the Constitution.

Not the Constitution's silence on any deadline for sending Articles of Impeachment to the Senate.

Not the stated partiality of McConnell or Graham which evidences, a priori, a Senate mistrial.

Not the PR attack by McConnell on Speaker Pelosi and Democrats.

Not the trust or credibility of any Senate Republican like Romney, Collins, Murkowski.

Not the pressure from a racketeer president to presume his declaration of victory on February 4.

Not the political setup of a rigged trial.

Nothing. Has. Changed.

Why has Speaker Pelosi blinked?

Corporate whores and their corporate wars.

IF there will be a "war of choice" made by this impeached prez, it will NOT be a war of choice made by Americans.

All wars are wars of pretext.

This time, it's Iraq.

Like Mikel Jollet tweets, and CousinIT reposts, if you were too young to understand the last Iraq war, just remember that it was pretextual -- declared on a pretext, not because of any act of war on its target's part.

Our leaders' pretext was that Saddam Hussein had WMD's when there were none. And our warmongers knew it. (Since then, some with intel access say that he transferred them to his brothers in Iran -- a likely thing, since Iran has since turned up with nuclear capability).

Many other countries hostile to the US have WMD's too, including the Saudis, whose own 19 fundamentalists killed 3,000 Americans, flying planes into US buildings.

Young or old, you need to accept that American wars are now corporate wars. We knew back in the 70's that they always were, but in "world" wars, we helped allies fight off land invasions.

Not now. Now US elites help the few who plan their pretexts, then produce these violent events they see as "dramas."

These military-industrial elites send help to no Kurds, no Ukrainians, no Iraqi civilians, no veterans, no natural disaster victims, no average Americans. This latest war of pretext is intended to keep profits up, Russians up, Saudis up, Israelis up, Republicans up, holy books' warriors up, and a con man US president IN.

Corporations intend to distract from their planned takeover of THIS country's govt in the 2020 "election year," every bit as much as they have taken over any country we pretextually warred on to "preserve our freedoms."

In elites' wars of pretext,
freedoms at home are always curtailed,
dissenters censored,
stigmatized,
detained,
arrested,
jailed.

War campaigns are staged on several stages, in stages, and are never meant to be understood, only felt. Like Trump campaign rallies.

We must learn not to misplace our trust in those who benefit most from wars of pretext. We must do what we can to stop them. We must fight warmongers' misuse of our taxes, thus learn how to control our tax money in peacetime.

Memes, cuz I'm feelin' WTFAF

Florida's shaping up to be Trump's main election staging state.

First, MF45's golfing convenience, of course, is used to 'message' his DC henchmen through Graham who's played with him 15 times so far.
Graham is the new Nunes.

Second, Bigly church crowds are useful for campaign video ad optics of leader love.

Third, Florida's evangelicals are useful to drive the nationwide christo-fascist messaging/fervor/vote.

Fourth, Dupes wear "I'd rather be Russian than Democrat" T-shirts while Russians conveniently fly in and out in their Gulfstreams.

Fifth, Trump gets to hang with his billionaire (FL has 52) buddies to plot global & domestic strategy for 2020.

Sixth, global laundering flows through Florida and the Caribbean banks like water through the Everglades.

Seventh, KKK and gun culture thrive in Florida.

Eighth, preserving those electoral college votes from the third biggest state needs attention.

Ninth, Russian hackers of Florida voting system needs attention.

Tenth, old white men need their warmth.

Wintering down here helps me notice 45's affinity for Florida right wing demographics; there are probably more reasons I've overlooked, so please add any more that seem relevant.

Donny you're crazy if you think that you can fool me, because I've seen that movie, too

The best of America will prevail against the hard year that's coming.

Right now, though, this song helps me purge my sadness and anger.

I can see by your eyes you must be lying
When you think I don't have a clue
Baby you're crazy
If you think that you can fool me
Because I've seen that movie too

The one where the players are acting surprised
Saying love's just a four letter word
Between forcing smiles, with the knives in their eyes
Well their actions become so absurd

So keep your auditions for somebody
Who hasn't got so much to lose
'Cause you can tell by the lines I'm reciting
That I've seen that movie too ...

It's a habit I have, I don't get pushed around
Stop twinkling your star like you do
I'm not the blue print for all of your 'b' films
Because I've seen that movie too

The one where the players are acting surprised
Saying love's just a four letter word
Between forcing smiles, with the knives in their eyes
All their actions become so absurd

So keep your auditions for somebody
Who hasn't got so much to lose
'Cause you can tell by the lines I'm reciting
That I've seen that movie too ...
