Privilege Is What Allows Clinton Supporters to Keep Supporting Her
When the overwhelming preference among young people for Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton first became apparent, old-school feminists like Madeleine Albright were quick to vote-shame younger women for abandoning the cause of feminism.
Now come the concerned citizens preemptively scolding supporters of Sanders who might be tempted to stay home if Clinton is on the ballot in November. We’re told that we have a moral duty to vote for Clinton, that we are sexist if we dislike her, and that a refusal to vote for her would be an act of privilege because vulnerable people will be hurt if Trump wins.
Well. Let’s talk about privilege and vulnerable people for a minute.
There’s no question that a Trump win would be a disaster. It would give a vain, unstable, and completely unqualified man great power and fan the flames of racism, violence, and xenophobia.
But if you are helping Hillary Clinton win the nomination, please don’t talk to me about privilege. Because you are choosing, right now, in this moment, to support a candidate who is deeply disliked by independents, has historically bad favorability ratings, is under investigation by both the FBI and the NSA, and is running much worse in head-to-head polls with the Republicans than Bernie Sanders.
In other words, you are choosing to put the country at risk by supporting the far weaker and far more vulnerable candidate. And then telling me I must support her. What does that say about your privilege?

Los Angeles, CA — In an ironic twist of a fate, a mascot for a Christian anti-masturbation organization was arrested for masturbating in public while at a protest being held at the Japanese Embassy in Los Angeles, California.
Fappy The Anti-Masturbation Dolphin, whose real name is 37-year-old Paul Horner, was arrested at the Japanese Consulate after protesters notified police about a man running through their protest with nothing on except a dolphin mascot head while touching himself. Ironically the protest was over Japan’s annual dolphin drive held in the town of Taiji that kills thousands of dolphins a year. During Horner’s arrest, it was learned he was out on work release from the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility, where he is currently serving eight-years for his 4th arrest of public masturbation along with a charge of aggravated assault on a police officer.
Sarah Bradley, a spokeswoman for Sock It Forward, a group that provides the homeless and those less fortunate with brand new socks told Fox News that she was at the protest when police arrived.
“It was really weird to see a naked man fondling himself and wearing a dolphin’s mascot head while running through a group of dolphin protesters,” Bradley said. “I thought maybe it was a stunt the protesters were doing to get more attention but I guess not.”

If you've spent much time on the Internet during this insane election season, you've probably seen somebody make a shocking claim about a certain senator from Texas. It turns out that many online believe that Ted Cruz might actually be the infamous Zodiac Killer that terrorized Northern California in the late '60s and early '70s. On one hand, this seems unlikely as Ted Cruz was born in 1970 and the first Zodiac murder was in 1968. But on the other hand, nobody knows who the Zodiac is. So...
Let's take this from the beginning. The meme began back in 2013, with a Twitter joke from @RedPillAmerica.
But it really took on a life of its own during Cruz's run for the presidency.

It's Over Gandalf. We Need to Unite Behind Saruman to Save Middle Earth from Sauron!
I’ve been on Team Gandalf ever since he first visited the Shire. It was so nice to see a wizard who was truly a wizard of the people. The kind of wizard who wouldn’t even throw you in a dungeon for smoking a little Longbottom Leaf or Old Toby. Here was a wizard who didn’t have a big fancy tower. His staff and cloak were rather plain and grey. And he had quite a dream, didn’t he?
Gandalf had the crazy idea that some little hobbits could stand up to and defy the power of the billionaire class Dark Lord Sauron. But I guess that was a pipe dream after all.
Gandalf failed. He got his ass locked up atop Saruman’s tower when he foolishly defied the head of the Democratic Party council of wizards. And now that he’s locked up it’s not like some eagle is going to magically appear and rescue him. It’s over. And now Saruman is our only hope against Sauron.
We need to stop saying nasty things about Saruman or it will be difficult to rally the people of Middle Earth to his side. Here are some things we should no longer mention, or if we do, we should put a positive spin on them so people will still see Saruman is our only hope.
Saruman’s Environmental Record: While it is true that Saruman has supported clear cutting huge ancient forests, and while an old hippie tree hugger like Treebeard might tell you lots of those trees were his friends, we ARE talking about trees here. And sure, Gandalf has a much better record on the environment but he’s done now. It’s time to focus on how much worse Sauron’s environmental record is. I mean, have you seen Mordor?
Saruman’s Being in League With the Dark Lord: Okay, okay. It’s true. Saruman did go to Sauron’s wedding. But that was a LONG time ago when Sauron still had both eyes. And fake hair. It’s also true that Saruman may have promised to do the dark lord’s bidding and to find the ring of power and give it to Sauron. But c’mon! You know Saruman was just doing that because he plans to ultimately betray Sauron after he’s done betraying us!
