White House doctors didn't tell us when Reagan had early onset Alzheimer's so why should I believe

this one too?
Especially since he said Donny Bone Spurs is only 239 lbs.
Maybe if you just weighed his gut, he's 239.
Why should I believe this doctor?
Reagan's disease was hidden by the White House so why not Trump's?

Let's be clear here, on the DACA deal Trump went back on his public promise-Democrats should be done

working with him now.
It was a very public promise to sign any bipartisan deal the men in that room came to him with that would pass.
On live TV.
They came to him with the deal and he freaked out, broke his word and killed it.
If he will so casually break a promise during a TV broadcast, like two days before, then his promises and word are as worthless as a degree from Trump University.
HE CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
HE IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD.
PERIOD! END OF STORY.
Anything Democrats do with him now is as a pawn of his, with outcomes of his choosing depending on his whim and who spoke to him last..

Democrats in DC need to shout "Trump wants to deport the Dreamers. He killed DACA! He doesn't

want a deal! He's trying to deport them. He signed the Executive Order to do it."
OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
all week.
Trump is trying to flip the script and say Democrats don't want a deal to save DACA and the Dreamers.
the world needs to be reminded of the Truth.
But will the Party leaders let him redefine the argument in a Orwellian/Luntz-like manner?
this shit matters.

I don't know what's in Donald Trump's heart in matters of others race and religion

I know what comes out of his mouth.
I see his actions.
He refused to rent to African-Americans in the 70s.
He attacks Mexicans on their character, even if one is a Federal Judge.
He attacks Muslims even if they are a Gold Star family.
He praises and protects American Nazis and the KKK.

Saw a news guy on interviewed on MSNBC saying "I don't know what's in Donald Trump's heart" about Trump being a racist.

they can't say anything that is actually smart.

Democrats Should Get Higher on Weed in 2018

can't argue with anything here.
The Party needs to embrace the fact that Prohibition is a failed PUBLIC POLICY! AGAIN!!!!!!

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/01/democrats-should-get-higher-on-weed-in-2018.html

The Democratic Party is long past due for its “come to cannabis” moment.

The fact that Team Blue hasn’t already embraced marijuana legalization as a signature issue is political malpractice. In our hyperpolarized era, there aren’t many policies that energize one party’s base, while also appealing to a majority of the other party’s voters. Legal weed is one.

And yet, Democrats have passed on this potent hybrid of a “wedge” and mobilization issue. Even as 420-friendly, third-party candidates began eating into Hillary Clinton’s advantage among younger voters in 2016, the Democratic nominee “just said no” to federal legalization of marijuana. Coming out in favor of regulating cannabis like alcohol would have put the Clinton campaign into better alignment with millennial opinion; sharpened its message on criminal justice reform; and won it the enthusiastic support of underserved advocacy organizations, all while undermining the perception of Hillary as an overly cautious politician unwilling to take bold stands on behalf of progressive priorities.

Given the narrowness of Clinton’s losses in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — and her lackluster performance among voters under 40 (roughly 74 percent of whom support marijuana legalization) — it’s quite possible that America could have been spared the Trump presidency, had Hillary only gotten a bit higher on legal weed.

But America had no such luck. And now, the Justice Department is helmed by a man who sees little distinction between pot brownies and speedballs. On Thursday, Jeff Sessions reversed an Obama-era policy that had enabled states to pursue marijuana legalization without threat of federal interference, so long as they took measures to prevent reefer from getting into the hands of minors or criminal gangs. U.S. Attorneys still have the prosecutorial discretion to leave dispensaries be. But they now have the permission (and encouragement) of the attorney general to disrupt legal weed markets, if they so choose. At present, eight states have legalized the recreational use of cannabis.

Mitt Romney running for Senate in Utah has interesting future possiblities

Mitt wins and becomes a Senator.
Trump, not happy.
He will be the grenade in Trump's bunker on the Hill.

After a year or so of poking the bear, Mitt could then possibly challenge Trump in a primary run in 2020 in an attempt to bring the GOP back to "normal."

If the GOP base is sick of Trump BS by then, and their taxes have gone up, Mitt could win and be the redemptive GOP candidate in 2020. Again.

Is Mitt Romney the "new Nixon?" (We know Trump is the "old Nixon.&quot
GOP rules are "run for President until you die" like Reagan.

Orrin Hatch won't run again! Just announced!

Opens it up for Mitt, who hates Trump.

About ZonkerHarris

Nixon was a fucking crook. As a teenager I marched on the UN in 1982 with a million other people demanding we get rid of the threat of nuclear weapons hanging over our heads. Since then I've worked to get Democrats elected like John Aristotle Phillips, known as the A-Bomb Kid when he ran for Congress against Stuart McKinney in CT in the 80's (we lost twice) through the Obama campaign in 2008 and 2012. I want to legalize cannabis, reform our prison for profit system, cut our military budget, get out of Afghanistan and push solar energy panels into every building in the USA.
