"Judge Issues Arrest Warrant For World's Biggest Tom Brady Fan"

Victor Thompson--who has a replica of Brady’s New England Patriots helmet tattooed across his skull--failed to appear today for a court hearing in connection with his arrest for felony narcotics possession. As a result, an arrest warrant was signed by a Circuit Court judge.

The 46-year-old Thompson also was a no-show at a January 8 court hearing, according to records.

Thompson, a New Hampshire native who relocated in 2014 to Florida, was arrested last September by St. Petersburg cops for trespassing and possession of the synthetic marijuana Spice, according to a police report. He was released on $1500 bond after jailers took a series of mug shots memorializing his tattoos.

Those photos, seen above, show that Thompson had his head inked to make it seem like he was wearing a blue Patriots helmet, complete with team logos, Brady’s number (12), and the word “Patriots.” Additionally, Thompson’s head includes other touches like an American flag, the NFL logo, and the brand name “Riddell,” which manufactures Brady’s actual helmet.

In Oklahoma, a white “survivalist” shot a police chief three times in the chest and once in the arm. The shooting did not result in an arrest or charges and the man, identified by local media as 29-year-old Dallas Horton, has been released.

In a press release, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said, “Facts surrounding the case lead agents to believe the man was unaware it was officers who made entry.” But Louis Ross, the Sentinel, Oklahoma police chief who was shot, said that he entered the home after “Washita County 911 received two calls from a man who identified himself as Dallas Horton, and claimed to have a bomb inside the head start school.”

Ross cast doubt on the credibility of Horton’s claim that he didn’t know officers were present, noting that there was “screaming from five officers of the law announcing our presence, requesting to see hands.” Ross only survived the shooting because he was wearing a bulletproof vest. He has “massive bruises and welts on his body” and the shot that hit his arm “went clean through.”

In a second statement released yesterday the Oklahoma State Bureau Of Investigation said Horton was “fully cooperating with the on-going investigation” and “no traces of explosives were found.”

Would you want to see more of these types of fields in football (both college and pro)? I've heard plenty of people say they're eye-sores, but I'm interested in the idea and think they would add more uniqueness.

Why does feminism get a bad rap?

I was just thinking about this as I watched one of TheAdviseShow's videos about how a 17 year old girl's father assaulted her 19 year old BF. Towards the end, the host (Phil) began blaming feminism for this issue, stating that feminists don't want parents to be protective of their children. There were also plenty of people in the comments going along with Phil's comment--one of which mentioned a CT about feminism being started so that women can "smoke cigarettes and join the workforce." I responded to that commenter, but it was a waste of time; the person replied with mostly playground insults and slurs. On other videos I've seen related to women, it has been fairly easy to see YouTubers and YouTube comments that are insensitive and are anti-feminist (with people claiming that feminists all hate men, are all lesbian, etc).
I don't know exactly how to articulate this, but I don't get why so many people have such a clouded view of feminism and judge all feminists by how a small minority may act. Last time I checked, it is about promoting a level playing field for women, sensitivity towards their concerns, and allowing them to be more independent. They're fighting for equality and acceptance just like how minorities and the LGBT community are. This is one big reason why it sort of raises a red flag for me (even as a guy) whenever I hear someone bad-mouthing feminism.

Florida Gators running back Adam Lane, Jr. apparently pooped his pants after scoring a touchdown in Saturday’s Birmingham Bowl.

He was seen with a mysterious brown patch on his backside. Shortly thereafter, a trainer gave Lane a towel, which he covered himself with.

I guess he went for 2 after scoring the TD.
