Protesters Gather in Cairo

?1354230000

CAIRO — In the second potent showing of opposition rage in less than a week, tens of thousands of people streamed into Tahrir Square on Friday, angrily denouncing Egypt’s president, Mohamed Morsi, and the hasty passage earlier in the day of a draft constitution written by an Islamist assembly.

...

Slogans calling on Mr. Morsi to leave or for his government to fall have energized crowds and drawn new faces to the opposition, including people staunchly opposed to Islamist leadership and those who have supported figures from Hosni Mubarak’s government, like Ahmed Shafik, a former minister who ran against Mr. Morsi in the presidential race. Strikingly, some revolutionary activists now refuse to use the word “remnant,” as they had in the past, to describe their new allies, saying instead that they are glad for the support of people who decided to stay home during the uprising.

You can fool some people sometime

but you can't fool all the people all the time.

Eventually the "reality based community" wins because of, well, reality.

Karl Rove is at least a person of interest in this famous Suskind excerpt:

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."[2]

What we saw on election night (Rove's Fox News tantrum) was the moment when the real world swept away "the new realities they created" - the ones in which the president of the united states is a muslim who supports al-quada and a communist hell bent on destroying capitalism.

Well, traditional real reality is finally really and truly catching up with the "new reality" rove (with a sycophantic national press) conjured for his idiot prince-boss and it is shattering it. 2008 was the first blow, 2010 was the when the reactionaries struck back in a low-turnout election. But 2012, with its higher than last time turnout among hispanics and african americans and the huge gender gap shows that 2008 was the beginning of the mega trend, not an out-lier.

Gohmert elaborates about Muslim Brotherhood comments

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
An East Texas congressman says "anti-Muslim investigations" into the Obama Administration are necessary because of the "horrendous decisions" in backing revolutions in Muslim countries across the world.

.....

Congressman Louie Gohmert of Tyler was a guest on The Frank Gaffney Show on Tuesday. On the show, the congressman claims the Obama Administration actively aided al-Qaeda and charges that it follows the advice of the Muslim Brotherhood.

"You look at the decisions it made especially in the last two years in going through the revolutions in Northern Africa and across the Middle East and to the Far East, and the only way you can explain the horrendous decisions that were so completely wrongheaded would be if the administration had a bunch of Muslim Brotherhood members giving them advice," said Gohmert.

NPR:Texas Scientist Says Bigfoot is Real. Let the Hunt Begin?

A Texas scientist dubiously claims she's sequenced Bigfoot's DNA. So is it legal to kill him/it now?

You may have read some dubious new claims by a Texas “scientist” that Bigfoot is real. Nacogdoches veterinarian Melba Ketchum (who claims to also be a a scientist in “Forensics and Hominid Research” on her Twitter profile) announced this week that her company, DNA Diagnostics, has successfully sequenced the DNA of not just one, but several Bigfoots. (Or is that Bigfeet?)

Using DNA apparently found from hair, blood and tissue samples, Ketchum says she’s sequenced Bigfoot. Those samples may have come from cryptid enthusiast Robin Lynne, who claims to have several Sasquatch roaming the land around her Michigan property. She says … wait for it … she’s enticed them there with blueberry bagels.

is "anonymous" an accessory after the fact?

if they are keeping evidence of karl rove's felonies from prosecutors, what does that make them?

November 19, 2012

"anonymous" firewall the new birth certificate?

what more evidence is there that anonymous people stopped karl rove from rigging the election than there is that the president was born in kenya?

seriously
