We are retired, so we spend a lot of time watching TV. When we get tired of the news, we watch mostly cooking shows, or home improvement shows.
We watch people remodel $500,000 homes and sit there and criticize some of the stuff they do...
As we sit in our 1977 single-wide mobile home. 
Did you used to watch Live PD and now
you watch On Patrol Live? I remember they shut down Live PD right after the George Floyd killing, although I don't fully understand why. Many reasons perhaps.
But do you find On Patrol Live to sort of be a kinder, gentler version of Live PD? I mean a little less violence, a lot more friendly cops, giving people the benefit of the doubt and letting things slide a little more often, etc.?
About the George Santos situation.
How many republicans in the House do you think lied about their resume? McCarthey himself said "who hasn't fluffed up their resume?" I wonder if this is why they feel like not doing anything about the one Santos wrote. It's a can of worms they don't care to open up. The fact is they are probably envious of Santos getting away with it.
One of those things that would never happen,
but wouldn't it be interesting if Adam Schiff and Eric Swallwell said that since they won't be serving on any committees they will be spending all that spare time helping Garland out over at the Dept. of Justice since he's got so many indictments to pursue. 
Note to republicans in Congress.
George Santos is not going to resign. You are not impressing us by "calling" for him to do so. Put a motion on the floor to expel him if you want to impress us. Put your vote where your rhetoric is.
Another perspective on how much rain we've had.
I live one mile from the shore of Clear Lake, the largest natural lake in California. Since Christmas we have gained four feet of water in the lake. The lake is 44,479 acres. And if the rain stopped right now, we would probably get another foot of runoff.
No major flooding or slides so far. We've been here and done this before. Been a few years, though.
