Could it be that humans also give off gasses that are warming the planet?
Someone more worthy can surely be found to throw out the opening pitch.
Perhaps Barack is available, and would undoubtedly please many more of the DC locals.

What is there in Nunes background that qualified him to be chairman of the Intelligence
Committee?
As I read and understand his background, he is from a dairy farming family.
His educational background is average - graduated from nearby colleges with agriculture degrees.
I don't minimize farming or agriculture studies, but not sure how they prepare one to be chairman of the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee.
Too bad there are apparently no photos of this aberration.
It's hard to make an informed judgment without seeing what the airline representative found reprehensible.
I have to wonder if age doesn't also play a large part in whether or not
one fears death.
As one ages into the eighth and ninth decade I have noticed in myself and the many other I've been near at those ages, that the fear of death becomes much less, and even becomes welcome in some instances.
Living takes energy, and as one loses strength and stamina, the fight for life becomes not worth the struggle.
I've heard elders- in their 90s and past- wonder why they are still around.
One has to have a reason for living - a sort of mission to fulfill, and when that has gone, the will to resist death, and thus the fear of death, recedes.
All of this is apart from belief in a God or an afterlife.

There is a certain comfort in knowing one has a supply on hand,
and that is one less thing to have in the back of one's mind.
I try to anticipate the timing when the current roll will run out and have another roll at the ready.
So very sad. So often those who die of opiod overdose are parents of young children,
left orphans because of the weakness of their parents. Even the best grandparents, aunts, relatives don't fully fill the void where the father and mother should be.
I admit to not understanding the attraction of drugs. I don't understand the need to alter the mind. I don't understand why real life is not okay.
Fr. Hugh O'Flaherty, WWII Irish priest Saved 1000s of Jews and others in Rome
The movie, "The Scarlet and the Black", was shown the other night on TBN, a network I seldom watch.
I happened upon the film, seeing Gregory Peck in the priestly clothing of the roman collar, and stopped and saw it through to the end.
What followed was a most engaging and exciting story of an Irish native (and therefore a neutral in WWII) working in the Vatican.
Fr. Hugh O'Flaherty was involved in ransoming and hiding thousands of Jews and others sought by the Nazi occupation forces in Rome in the early part of WWII. The Nazi commandant Keppler was aware of Fr. O'Flaherty's activities, but could not catch him, as the priest managed to stay just one step ahead of the Nazis.
I recommend this film to those who haven't heard of Fr. O'Flaherty, (as I had not), and who enjoy the acting of Gregory Peck and a thriller until the end. I intend to learn more of Fr. O'Flaherty's story.
