He picked up a dozen, but the owner gave him a 13th.

*Block all attempts at allowing mail in voting systems
*Flood Red States with relief

Bob Feller
In his MLB debut he struck out 15 batters. A month later he set an AL rookie record by striking out 17 Philadelphia As. Upon completion of his rookie year he returned to Iowa to finish his senior year of High School. His graduation was covered by NBC radio.

How that shot of Fisk waving his HR ball fair came about.
From ESPN:
The story goes that the iconic shot of Carlton Fisk waving his Game 6 home run to stay fair was an accident. The cameraman, Louis Gerard, was supposed to follow the ball. But he told his producer he couldn't, that there was "a rat on my leg that's as big as a cat. It's staring me in the face." So he just kept the camera on Fisk, a shot out of character with broadcasts of the time but one that turned out to be revolutionary.
Undeniable horrifying math
The United States has 4.25% of the earth's population, but 25% of the world's COVID deaths.
