Virginia Lt. Gov.-elect Winsome Sears: "When we talk about the Tulsa Race Riots, let’s ask ourselves how did the black people amass so much wealth right after the Civil War, so that it could even be destroyed? How did they do that?"

Florida woman arrested after Canadian border agents seize 56 illegal weapons

Canadian authorities said Friday they arrested a Florida resident who tried to smuggle 56 guns into their country from Port Huron earlier this month.

Officials with the Canada Border Services Agency said Vivian Richards, 48, of Oakland Park, Florida, has been charged with multiple crimes, including attempting to smuggle, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession for the purpose of weapons trafficking.

:snip:

Officials said the charges stem from the agency's Nov. 1 seizure of a vehicle referred for secondary examination at the Blue Water Bridge port of entry in Point Edward, Ontario.

During the examination, CBSA officers discovered 56 undeclared prohibited firearms,13 over-capacity magazines, 43 ten-round pistol magazines and 100 rounds of ammunition, located in boxes in the trunk of the car. All of the items were seized, they said.

“The Canada Border Services Agency is the first line of defense for our country," Marco E. L. Mendicino, Canada's minister of public safety, said in a statement. "The smuggling of firearms is a threat to public safety and this seizure is an example of our steadfast commitment to preventing dangerous criminal activities and keeping Canadians safe."

Sheriff pulled gun on church youth group that left Thanksgiving thank-you note at his home

Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland is under investigation by the Idaho Attorney General's Office after he allegedly pulled a gun on a group of girls and a woman at his home last week, the East Idaho News reports.

On Nov. 9, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Young Women's group left thank-you notes on the homes of members in their congregation, which included Rowland's. After the note was left, Rowland then reportedly emerged from his house carrying a gun.

While yelling threats, he made his way over to the car with the girls and the woman, and then allegedly pulled the woman out of the car and made further threats. The girls and the woman were eventually able to drive away and call 911.

It's still not clear why Rowland acted the way he did, and as of this Monday, no charges have been filed.

"I have no comments," Rowland told the East Idaho News.

In a statement on Monday, Bingham County Prosecuting Attorney Paul Rogers said that "to protect the integrity of the investigation and to avoid undue intrusion into the private lives of the persons involved, Bingham County is unable to comment further regarding the subject of the investigation at this time."

Rowland has taken a leave of absence while the investigation is conducted.

Aug 2021: Kyle Rittenhouse dreamed about shooting people days before Kenosha

Newly discovered video caught Kyle Rittenhouse fantasizing about being a vigilante gunning down shoplifters — just 15 days before he shot three protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, according to prosecutors seeking to use it in his trial.

The 29-second clip included in a court motion filed Wednesday shows a CVS store, with a voice sounding like Rittenhouse suggesting that people running out were shoplifters.

“It looks like one of them has a weapon,” says the person prosecutors identify as Rittenhouse, but who was not actually seen in the video.

“Brah, I wish I had my f—ing AR. l’d start shooting rounds at them,” says the same person in the video used in the filing.

Was anyone really surprised? Especially based on the Judge's behavior.

I was hoping the jury saw right through it but alas.

It's Open Season in America.

Hope the trolls are happy. 🖕
