We have every right to be concerned, Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, said at a news conference in Buffalo. When youre identified, specifically, by an al-Qaida-inspired publication that is disseminated throughout the world to people who want to do harm to us, theyre paying attention. The bureaucrats in Washington, particularly the Department of Homeland Security, need to pay attention on behalf of the people of this community.
The magazines threat against Buffalo can be found in its Spring 2014 issue, in an article called 24/7 Terrorism thats essentially a dull-as-dust account of a September 2013 House subcommittee hearing with a pro-al-Qaida spin put on it.
All the participants agreed that the U.S. strategy in countering jihad is failing and fruitless, the article said of the hearing, which was conducted by the House Homeland Security Committees Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. BRANFORD >> Police have opened an internal affairs investigation into whether veteran officer Joe Peterson violated department policy in a Facebook exchange with Branford gun rights activist John Cinque, Capt. Geoffrey Morgan said Tuesday.
Petersons comments in the exchange have unleashed a firestorm in the days since it took place.
In the exchange with Cinque who in addition to being a gun advocate is an East Haven firefighter who has known Peterson for years Cameron Smith and others, Peterson said that he would give my left nut to bang down your door and come for your gun.

I wonder if this guy posted in any of the wars here?
