Orlando gunman cheered 9/11 attacks, former classmates say
As a teenage high school student in Florida, gay nightclub mass murderer Omar Mateen cheered as terrorists flew jumbo jets into the Twin Towers on 9/11, his former classmates recalled.
Self-proclaimed Islamic State devotee Mateen was a sophomore when the al Qaeda terrorists attacked New York on Sept. 11, 2001 and classmates vividly recalled his offensive reaction to Americas darkest day, according to the Washington Post.
One former classmate said he was in the same room with Mateen during the 9/11 attacks. While everyone in the classroom was shocked or angered, Mateen was celebrating.
But Omar was saying some really rude stuff. Stuff like, Thats what America deserves. That kind of thing. It wasnt right, the former classmate said.

That woman, Rebecca Landis Hayes, took to Facebook to respond to the anonymous note writer:
To the person who left this note on my windshield today at the Coddle Creek Harris Teeter in Concord, NC:
I know I parked in one of the Veteran Parking spaces today, it was hot. I had been in and out of my car several times already this afternoon, and I was only going to be a minute. Besides, the parking lot was full, so I just did it. It was the first time, and I wont do it again. Im sorry
Im sorry that you cant see my eight years of service in the United Sates Navy. Im sorry that your narrow misogynistic world view cant conceive of the fact that there are female Veterans. Im sorry that I have to explain myself to people like you. Mostly, Im sorry that we didnt get a chance to have this conversation face to face, and that you didnt have the integrity and intestinal fortitude to identify yourself, qualities the military emphasizes.
Which leads to one question, I served, did you?

Henry McCullough, who played guitar on some of Wings earliest records, has died. The Irish guitarist, who also played with some of rocks biggest names, was 72.
In addition to his work with Paul McCartneys post-Beatles group, McCullough was also a member of Spooky Tooth, Joe Cockers Grease Band and the traditional Irish folk group Sweeneys Men.
But he was probably best known for being tapped by McCartney to play guitar on Wings second album, 1973s Red Rose Speedway, as well as a handful of singles from the era, including Hi, Hi, Hi and Live and Let Die. He also performed the celebrated solo on the No. 1 hit My Love.
McCullough got his start in local Northern Ireland bands while in his teens. He later joined Éire Apparent, a group managed the Animals Chas Chandler, who also spearheaded Jimi Hendrixs career at the same time. The association led to shows with Hendrix, the Move and Pink Floyd.

Grateful Dead's Bob Weir: Believers in Homophobia and ISIS Share 'The Same Hatred'
Grateful Dead's Bob Weir: Believers in Homophobia and ISIS Share 'The Same Hatred'

Later in the night, Weir joined Dead & Company for a two-set Bonnaroo bow. According to an insider, the band, which consists of fellow original Dead members Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti, made sure there were no songs that referenced guns in their set-list.
Read and listen to Weir's comments below:
"As we know, there was a massacre in Florida, not far from here. Id like to point out that last week, a distinguished representative from the State of Georgia went on the floor of the House of Representatives of our country and started quoting bible verses in which he basically promoted, or at least rationalized, death to gay people as a reward for the way they were born.
This morning, the Lieutenant Governor of Texas said that, 'Well, theyre reaping what theyve sown.' Now, I wanna ask a question: how different are these peoples world views from the world views of the people with ISIS? Its the same hatred. They pull those hatreds out of different books, but its the same hatred and Id just like to point that out."

In the video, Jimenez preached to his congregation that they should not be grieving the homosexual victims of the shootings, comparing those killed to pedophiles.
"Are you sad that 50 pedophiles were killed today?" asked Jimenez. "Um no. I think thats great. I think that helps society. I think Orlando, Florida, is a little safer tonight. The tragedy is that more of them didnt die. The tragedy is Im kind of upset he didnt finish the job because these people are predators. They are abusers."
Jimenez went on to criticize the government, saying he wished homosexuals would be put in front of a firing squad.
"I wish the government would round them all up, put them up against a firing wall, put the firing squad in front of them and blow their brains out," Jimenez said.
Meet Sacramento Baptist Pastor Roger Jimenez, who says the Orlando 50 "deserve what they got."

Trump was accused of destroying email evidence in lawsuit 10 years ago
Trump was accused of destroying email evidence in lawsuit 10 years ago
http://www.wcnc.com/news/nation-now/trump-was-accused-of-destroying-email-evidence-in-lawsuit-10-years-ago/242697813
In 2006, when a judge ordered Donald Trump's casino operation to hand over several years' worth of emails, the answer surprised him: The Trump Organization routinely erased emails and had no records from 1996 to 2001. The defendants in a case that Trump brought said this amounted to destruction of evidence, a charge never resolved.
At that time, a Trump IT director testified that until 2001, executives in Trump Tower relied on personal email accounts using dial-up Internet services, despite the fact that Trump had launched a high-speed Internet provider in 1998 and announced he would wire his whole building with it. Another said Trump had no routine process for preserving emails before 2005.
Judge Jeffrey Streitfeld was stunned. He has a house up in Palm Beach County listed for $125 million, but he doesnt keep emails. Thats a tough one, he said, according to transcripts obtained by USA TODAY. If somebody starts to put forth as a fact something that doesnt make any sense to me and causes me to have a concern about their credibility in the discovery process, that's not a good direction to go, and I am really having a hard time with this.
Now, a decade later, Trump regularly hammers Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, for using her own email server while she was secretary of State and deleting emails from that server that she deemed to be private. In a war of tweets with Clinton a week ago, Trump wrote, And where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted? On the CBS News program Face the Nation earlier this month, Trump said, "What she did is a criminal situation. She wasn't supposed to do that with the server and the emails."

"She comes out of nowhere."
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/06/donald-trump-orlando-speech
On Monday, Roger Stone, one of Trump's close friends and advisers, also suggested that Huma Abedin, a longtime aide to Clinton, might be a terrorist operative. "She has a very troubling past," Stone said on the Breitbart News Daily radio show. "She comes out of nowhere. She seems to have an enormous amount of cash, even prior to the time that she goes to work for Hillary. So we have to ask: Do we have a Saudi spy in our midst? Do we have a terrorist agent?"
