The most straightforward way to achieve that goal: First, to subpoena key witnesses, as Chairman Nadler’s committee has already done with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and others, particularly Attorney General Bill Barr, White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, and Trump’s private attorney Rudolph Giuliani. Should the witnesses refuse to appear, the Committee may seek expedited action by the courts to secure their testimonies and add to the evidence of obstruction of justice.

Second, to introduce before that Committee those testimonies, unredacted versions of the whistleblower’s memo, transcripts of Trump’s phone calls with President Zelensky, and other corroborating information in support of clearly written articles of impeachment.

Third, to hold a House Judiciary Committee hearing where committee counsel put the case for impeachment simply and directly, followed by a likely party-line vote in favor of particular articles of impeachment. Fourth, to hold a timed floor debate and vote out an impeachment resolution, perhaps supported by a few Republican votes, before Congress’ 2019 Thanksgiving recess.

Along with President Trump’s many other impeachable offenses—including, most recently, illegally soliciting the government of Ukraine to assist his own re-election campaign—a coalition of national advocacy groups has released a new report outlining the argument for President Trump’s impeachment on the basis of his racist abuses of power.

Authored by Free Speech For People’s Legal Director, constitutional lawyer Ron Fein, and issued by Free Speech For People, By The People, CREDO Action, and the Equal Justice Society, the report shows a pattern of the president’s racist rhetoric and policy actions, and sets forth, for the first time, a constitutional framework for determining when racist presidential action and rhetoric crosses the line into “high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

The voluntary recall is for bags with a "better if used by" date of September 6, 2020, according to a notice on the Food and Drug Administration website. The UPC is 000-16000-19610-0.

"The recall is being issued for the potential presence of E. coli O26 which was discovered during sampling of the five-pound bag product," General Mills said in a statement Monday. "This recall is being issued out of an abundance of care as General Mills has not received any direct consumer reports of confirmed illnesses related to this product."

No other types of Gold Medal Flour are affected by the recall.
