There are fatalities,' 'gunman deceased': At least 5 injured in Downtown Cincinnati

Two are dead and at least five injured in what dispatch called an "active shooter" situation in Downtown Cincinnati at the Fountain Square Fifth Third location.

The scene was announced as secure at about 9:15 a.m., but there are multiple victims in the area of 511 Walnut Street.

One victim was located at 5th and Walnut streets, according to police.

Another victim was located inside the nearby Graeter's ice cream shop.

Four victims were transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, hospital officials said. Radio traffic indicated other victims may have been transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.

Trump Demands NYT Turn Over Anonymous White House Critic

WHITE HOUSE — President Donald Trump demanded in a tweet Wednesday night that The New York Times immediately turn over an anonymous official of his administration for prosecution:

The demand came shortly after Trump published a one-word message on Twitter: "TREASON?"

The president and the White House reacted with anger to the Times opinion piece, written by a person — identified by the paper as a senior Trump administration official — who asserted that the president's worst impulses have been frequently foiled by his own staff.
