"Fear: Trump in the White House"
In the book, Woodwards 19th, the 75-year-old journalist and author reveals in unprecedented detail the harrowing life inside President Donald Trumps White House and precisely how he makes decisions on major foreign and domestic policies, the publishers release states.
The expected tenor of the book is underscored by its unsettling cover, an extreme close-up of a squinty-eyed Trump depicted through a gauzy red filter. The hush-hush project derives its title from an offhand remark that then-candidate Trump made in an interview with Woodward and Post political reporter Robert Costa in April 2016. Costa asked Trump whether he agreed with a statement by then-President Barack Obama, who had said in an Atlantic magazine interview that real power means you can get what you want without having to exert violence.

Sessions defends Rosenstein after impeachment threat
Source: CNN
Attorney General Jeff Sessions defended Rod Rosenstein on Thursday, saying he has "the highest confidence" in him one day after House conservatives introduced a resolution to impeach the deputy attorney general overseeing the special counsel Russia investigation.
"My deputy Rod Rosenstein is highly capable. I have the highest confidence in him," Sessions said during a news conference in Boston when asked about the impeachment effort against Rosenstein.
Sessions suggested on Thursday that Congress should focus on other issues instead of targeting his deputy.

Burr breaks with Nunes: 'Sound reasons' for judges to approve FISA warrant
Source: CNN
Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr told CNN Tuesday he believed there were "sound reasons" for judges to approve the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant on former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page, in yet another break between the Republican leaders of the House and Senate intelligence committees.
"I don't think I ever expressed that I thought the FISA application came up short," Burr said when asked about House Republican memo alleging FBI and Justice Department abuses of the FISA process. "There (were) sound reasons as to why judges issued the FISA."
Burr's comments once again put him at odds with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, who spearheaded the memo on FISA abuses.

Nunes is total slime.
Watching Mitch Landrieu on The Axe Files
He's very impressive! His description of this abnormal time we find ourselves in and what we need to do to turn things around was spot on. He also gave an excellent commentary on Helsinki and the traitor. They've now cut away to the hostage situation in LA though. Hope I can catch a rerun later. It is well worth watching.

Part of me was hoping they were stupid enough to try this. I was, in a way, looking forward to a State Department revolution.
Kudos to Douglas Brinkley for a powerful battle cry and perfect bumper sticker!
