OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Gov. Kevin Stitt has commuted Julius Jones’ sentence to life without the possibility of parole.

Gov. Stitt released the following statement:

“After prayerful consideration and reviewing materials presented by all sides of this case, I have determined to commute Julius Jones’ sentence to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.”

I am really upset with the prosecutor in KR's trial

I’m a victim of domestic violence from my ex wife and it went on for years. We divorced over 10 years ago and I was immediately transported back watching closing statements. “Everyone takes a beating sometimes” if any jurors have experience with DV it probably sounded the same to them. This also makes the case for the defense that KR according to the prosecutor was about to take a beating.

What Americans never understood or were never told about Afghanistan

I once upon a time was a member of the IC long since removed. I assist veterans like myself in navigating the VA for benefits many from Afghanistan.
The lie that has been and is still being told is there is a difference between the Taliban, ISIS and Al Queda. To put it in perspective that’s like saying there is a difference between the Proud Boys, KKK and 3%ers. The goals by all of them is the same to establish a Caliphate.

When we pushed the active fighters to Pakistan we see lines on a map and thought we were accomplishing something. We see distinctions between the groups that fundamentally don’t exist. We trained and gave arms to men that had/have no problem deceiving those that were intentionally ignorant about allegiances. The Afghan Army was always a paper army as long as we kept paying them. Were there some that had our interests in mind sure but never the majority and those tended to die in the fighting.

The Taliban and AQ/ISIS never really left they just changed uniform to appease us and wait knowing we would eventually leave. Our leaders never understood who they were dealing with. The reason everything seemed to fall so fast was it was never real in the first place. Once we “left” and stopped paying a huge chunk of the army just switched back into their old uniform now armed with all the guns and equipment we trained them with.

Afghanistan wasn’t lost it was never real to begin with and once you understand that everything else makes sense.

Veterans finally get a payment date for stimulus

The IRS has announced Wednesday April 14th. They will begin process on Friday April 9th so a chance it will show up this weekend. I have been so stressed about this and need it many of my fellow veterans will use this to try to get housing. We are required to have some form of direct deposit so it makes no sense we are last.

Update for stimulus SS,SSDI and VA bad news

So the IRS finally announced a date if you get SSI,SSDI your payment date is April 7th if you are Veterans Affairs your date is a vague Mid-April.

To say this is causing an uproar on social media towards the administration is putting it mildly. My veteran group is claiming Biden is to blame which is not true of course but being a lone firefighter is not going to help with this blaze. Especially after it was announced last week was one of the largest influx of pure cash from people just willing to stockpile their $1400 and didn’t need it

Stimulus round 3 SS,SSI,SSDI and VA *updated*

Apparently there is a problem and the finger pointing has begun. In phone calls to the IRS they say they have not received information of non filers from the Social Security Administration. Then phone calls were made to SSA and they claim they have sent all information to the IRS and they have nothing else to send. I’m in a group that is in the hundreds of thousands approximately 200k and 7 have said they have received stim3. Also the March 22nd date is a internet myth according to the IRS and nothing official has been announced.

So what’s the truth?

Edited to add in the discussion section of the group it’s beginning to get political and some are without merit blaming the Biden Administration go figure. Hopefully payments are sent before Fox starts the they are starving grandma and grandpa stories.
